    Default SLEEP SCHEDULE- What is yours???

    For the last 10 years I haven't used an alarm clock. I've had a pretty fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants lifestyle & simply haven't needed one. Now I am apparently 'settling down' & have new responsibilities that require me to organize my existence. My plan is: wake 5am -sleep 10pm M-F then Dance Fri & Sat wake 12pm-sleep 2 am. Is this possible? I am only on day 2 right now & have been waking up at 5 am (It's easier since this is when my bf wakes up so we get to have coffee & breakfeast together) Typically I'll be doing manual labor at a job site by 6am, but I haven't started yet, so right now it just feels like I'm waking up really fucking early for no reason. Do any of you maintain a schedule like this??? (especially with that drastic time alteration on the weekends?) What is your sleeping schedule? Do you have one? How long did it take to feel 'normal'? And for the night owls- do you still feel like a monster demon bitch from hades in the AM?

    hmm, this is interesting and something i've always wondered about!!

    When i was dancing, i would wake up around 10 or 11 am, work out and get ready for work, leave for work by 2:30, be there by 3:30, done work at 1, sleep by 2 am.

    I heard other girls talking about going to bed at 4 or 5 am (which i never saw the point of, but i'm assuming they just treat it like most americans treat their jobs, get up and immediately get ready to go to work? idk)

    now my schedule is, wake up at 9 am, at day job from 10 am to 7 pm, try to be at the gym by 8 pm, be in bed by 11, but usually asleep by midnight. I've had this job for 4 months now and i'm still getting used to waking up at 9 instead of 10 or 11... really think that's my biological clock.

    Well hmm..you ask a lot of ?'s lol..I am not really on a 'schedule', but I do keep weird hours, & work different, short-term gigs. I seem to get tired/fall asleep around 10pm or later, then tend to wake up in the middle of the night (around 2 -3am), either staying up or falling asleep again for a couple hours or less..
    You're saying up @ 5am to 10pm? Dance for 2 hours? What would be your manual labor schedule?
    Anyway, my worst time of day is late/mid afternoon (working a reg. job) I get really tired then..I just get used to that somewhat.

    I've always been a morning person despite working late hours for 20 years. Since I travel to work and am off sometimes 3-6 weeks in between trips, about a week after I'm home I'm asleep by midnight and up at 7-8 am. The first week I go back to work is hell. I usually go to bed at 6-7 because most clubs I work close 5-6. I end up getting no sleep the first 4-5 days of a trip because I can't go to sleep for hours or I do and am up at like 9. So I take sleeping pills and force myself back to sleep until like 4 if I can. I need at least 5 solid uninterrupted hours if I'm working those horrible shifts.

    My sleeping pattern is fucked up, I work until 4 on weekends and get home 5, then sleep to like 2 or 3!, I also work another place until 1am but still cannot sleep until 5 it sucks. I have to force myself to get up to do stuff, sometimes im up at 10 do stuff then go back to sleep at 1 then sleep until 4 then get up, depends what I have to do.

    Ideal = 4 days/week sleep 2am-9am
    3 days/week sleep 10pm-6am

    *I like to get 8hrs and wake up without alarm clock too

    Current = depends on the day

    Sleep 9:30 am till about 6pm. Work at 10ish, work out, pick up bf. Repeat. I don't do daylight or bullshit. NOT a morning person. (Ask Athena the last time she stayed with me)

    I go to sleep around 8am and wake up around 5pm. Work 11pm-5am

    I have awful insomnia and haven't been able to sleep without meds since I was a kid. I go to sleep at 7 am, wake up anywhere from 11 am (never intentionally, I try to take a nap later on these days) to 6 pm. I've noticed a correlation between waking up too early and not switching out champagne for ginger ale the night before! I'm not functional until around 7 or 8 either way. I try to get to work before 10 but sometimes I go in at 11. My hustle improves as the night goes on and I rely on after hours rooms (rooms usually stay open until 5:30 at my club). I sometimes think about moving to Vegas so I can pull marathon shifts in the 24 hour clubs. I could see myself working from 10pm-10am if there's still money to be made. It's always disappointing to have to go home before I'm tired.

    I sleep when I can. Usually this entails sleeping 3 hours a night average for 2 months or so until I almost die then sleeping 10-12 hours a night for a month until I catch up and then reverting to a normal person 8 hour a night sleep schedule for the remainder of summer/winter break. God I can't wait to be done with uni. Obviously I don't work a whole lot during those 3 hr a night periods because 90% of the time I'm a raging sleep deprived bitch lol. I actually prefer to wake up around 10-11am as well. When I let myself fall into a natural sleep schedule, that's when I usually wake up. However, coming off of a night shift getting home at 4 or 5am makes me sleep longer, into the afternoon, which I don't like because I feel like I get nothing done.

    what i SHOULD be doing ( and usually do now) is sleep at 10 or 11 pm, wake up at 8 am to get my kid off to school.
    on the days i work, i get home at 1:45 am , sleep by 2:30 or 3 am and wake up around noon.

    If I'm not working-bed time is usually around 11.30pm ish and I wake up in the morning (naturally) between 10am-12 noon (if I wake up before 10am, any day, I feel very lethargic all day long, even if I've had my 8hrs plus ).

    On work days, I usually go to sleep at roughly 5am on weekdays and 7am-8am over the weekend and wake up around 3pm-4pm.

    I'll be studying full time again and working a lot less next year, so hopefully my sleeping pattern will go back to normal . Doing shift work really confuses your inner body clock!

    Going back to school changed my sched a lot, and it's about to change drastically in the new year (to a really shitty sched, blah).

    Fall semester, my class was in the evening, I'd get home around 10:30p. Since I was so alert from being in class, I'd stay up til 1am or so, and on the nights not at school, I'd cam from about 9pm-midnite. Usually woke up around 10am
    Now on break, I'm sleeping around 1am and am waking up at noon.
    In January, school is gonna be Mon-Fri 8am to noon. I'm freaking out. NOT a morning person. I'll have to go to bed by like 11p. I'll still be groggy in the morn & am concerned how this will affect my actual retention of the information.
    I'll have to cam earlier, prob a good time actually to get both coasts in on the action.

    I go to bed around 6am,wake up at 4pm, and get to work around 7pm. I don't get on the floor till 8 or 9 and then I usually work till I stop making money.

    I go to sleep around 4 am, wake up around 11 or 12. I love the mornings, but i love the nights, too so one must sacrifice for the job. This will likely change when I get a different job down the road, but I'll always hate the afternoon.

    I usually go to bed around 9 or 10 and wake up at 7 to bring my son to school during the week. On the weekends I'll stay up to 10 or 11 and sleep till around 7.
    I try to sleep later on the weekends, but I just can't! I've always been an early riser, it runs in my family.

    Often people who get off work late at night find it impossible to go to sleep immediately after work, so they stay up. Not unlike people who work 8-5 don't usually go to bed when they get home at 6

    aaaaaaaand now I've gotten into my weird winter session school sched i mentioned earlier.

    I've been falling asleep at 10pm! Even on Fri/Sat! I didn't even go out!
    And I'm waking up at 7am M-F, and this weekend I was still waking up around 8am. Only til mid-Feb! I can do this..... just trying to seriously adjust my camming hours and getting motivated while super tired.

    I've had a huge problem with sleep since I was like 7 years old and it just got worse when I started stripping. I spent 6 months going to sleep at 9 am and waking up at 1 pm then go to gym then obligatory nap cuz i was so tired then get ready for work then nap then go to work and hustle for 2 hours then nap then work another 4 hours then get home and read/paint/drink/watch movies/yard work/eat then nap then shower and then sleep at 9. Melatonin is an herbal supplement that has helped me switch me over to something more normal since I am starting school again soon.
