Oh my god do not take an appetite suppressant! eat healthy and as much as your body is telling you it needs!
edited to add:
Up until late July or so I used to be a huge gym rat and before I became a gym rat I was average sized. I GAINED weight I start exercising because I was building muscle! And I only just weighed myself for the first time in months and I have lost ten pounds and I know it's because I've lost muscle. I cannot speak to your specific situation very much without knowing where you are starting from but people get way too obsessed with numbers! When I am exercising regularly I eat constantly! Always at least breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. AT LEAST. Sometimes more and especially if I knew I was going to go for an intense run that evening sometimes I would eat a candy bar on purpose for the extra calories! If you look into professional athletes their diets frequently would be really bad for the average person but it works for them because they need so much fuel! So now you need more fuel than before you were exercising. It sounds like you are being pretty smart with your workouts (by add strength training to the mix) so please be smart with your diet too!

Yes, I have to agree here^..maybe your bod is adjusting to the extra workouts, & for now needs a bit more nourishment? Try throwing in a few carbs..if you start in w/that stuff, it may not be good for you, ez to stop..just sayin'

There is no magic trick or pill to losing weight. Starving yourself will only send your body into distress mode and you will wind up regretting it. The only thing that ever works is eating clean and working hard.

don't take an appetite suppressant -- if you're working your body harder it will inevitably hunger for more calories to make up for all that energy output. rather than forego those MUCH NEEDED calories altogether, substitute w healthier food options. eventually your palate will adapt and it'll become easier over time. check out this chart... Unsophisticated in the finest sense of the word.

don't take appetite surpressants... from my personal experience, the best thing is just make smarter choices:
- drink your coffee with no sugar / no milk
- drink unsweetened tea
- chewing gum encourages saliva, reflux, and hunger
- don't watch TV / listen to music while you're eating... let all your senses focus on the dish in front of you
- buy a smaller plate, preferrably black or dark navy blue ( food looks like it's more if it's on a plate that creates contrast)
- cut your food into smaller pieces, chew it well, and don't look anywhere other place besides the bits on the plate. take your time... it usually takes 20-25 full minutes for the brain to start feeling satiated.
- processed foods contain way too moch sugar, sodium, and the worst - MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE .. this is a flavour enhancer that creates severe addiction and hormonal imbalances... junk food, fast food, pre-packaged meals, soup stocks, all of these contain it.
- protein helps a lot but also be careful on how you cook it - hard boiled eggs are more satisfying than soft boiled ones.
- you need to eat a little bit of fat everyday because otherwise, your brain will suffer and you might get depressed for no reason.. a tablespoon of olive oil on a salad is welcomed.
- i've noticed that whenever i crave food, my body actually needs something else, most of the cases.. either sleep, or water (or maybe an orgasm, ha!)
only these things pop in my head for now... i'll post later if i come up with something else.
HUGS.

The best appetite suppressor is actually protein. The daily range is something like 1-3g per kg of bodyweight. Make sure you eat protein with every meal.
Also in the morning for breakfast, have something that will increase dopamine levels like meat and nuts (high protein, good fats and only a little carbs). So you're energy for the day will be better.
Avoid things like oats and orange juice in the morning, because although the carbs will increase serotonin and make you feel happy, you will feel tired and hungry after a couple of hours. The best time to have carbs is after workout or whenever you want to relax.
I wouldn't recommend fat burners at all.

I know how you feel, I get very hungry too when i am working out hard and regularly... only thing that helps is to eat 'perfectly' clean and just enough to be full. It's really easy to overeat, but you gotta have discipline and you will have the most rockin' body over time (through cardio & the right strength combined with eating clean)
