    Default Splitcamming Help

I've been checking out the thread for a few months and have been camming for about a year. I have searched for and scanned through every thread that seemed applicable but I can't find anything specific to help me figure out how to splitcam with manycam. Could anyone point me to a tutorial or a thread that gets specific about this? Thank you!

Thank you for posting them!! I typed in everything I could think of in the search bar but couldn't find those!!

ETA: I spoke too soon. I have read through most of those...but I still can't get either MFC, Cam4, or Mongocams to recognize my camera when using manycam. It just shows up as a black screen.

For Cam4 in the performer FAQ it explains how to use manycam. Basically you have to click the black screen and then select manycam for your camera source on Cam4. I have no idea on MFC or the other site.

Yeah...unfortunately the black screen of death seems to be permanent for me. No matter what i do, trying to use manycam on any site just produces a black screen and no audio. >_<; I'm sure this problem is something to do with my webcam's settings itself but since it's an internal cam on my laptop, there aren't too many options available for modifying through the computer itself...or perhaps windows 8 is just burying these settings somewhere i cannot find!

When I used MC I had to sometimes click on the video tab an select a camera that I wasn't using then select the camera that I was using in order for MC to recognize the camera. Not sure if that would work now because I just noticed that they changed the layout since I last used it. Other times I had to go to settings(when you right click on whatever livecam broadcaster you are using), click on the drop down box, select something other then MC like the internal cam, wait a couple of secs and then click on MC again.

The audio never worked for me through MC. I think on the older version you had to purchase the pro version in order for it to work....not sure if that's still the case. I just select the audio from the settings option or select it through the encoder if you are using it. I hope this made sense.

I no longer use Manycam because it degraded the quality of my camera and it took up alot of computer usage. I used Verysoft for a while.... excellent quality and didn't take up as nearly as much usage as MC. I brought the pro version because the free version had text across the screen that said upgrade which flashed across the screen every few minutes. Now that I switched computer I have to buy it again (didn't realize you could only use it on 1 computer). Right now I'm using 2 webcams instead of splitcam software to splitcam.

I had to do this too, they were very quick to respond and get it sorted out for me.

I downloaded the free version of verysoft to see if i liked it for splitting IMlive and AW, but my CPU was through the roof. I have the same issue when I run manycam, and I was hoping to find a replacement. Does this mean my computer just can't handle splitting?
