    Dizzy Health/Dental Insurance

So as I'm fully self employed as a camgirl and since I've started that I have not had insurance for over a year. My jobs before always handled the insurance stuff and just had me give them info and set it all up.

I'm a bit lost as to how to know what insurance is good, what I should get set up with, and how to deal with it in regards to this Obamacare stuff (will it effect my insurance that I've gotten if it doesn't go through as I've heard that it might not?) Are they going to need info on my job, and if so do I put cam model? >_<

Basically I'm already a bit lost and undereducated in it to begin with as being self employed and then I'm getting mixed messages on how to go about it in regards to the new healthcare regime.

Any help on a step by step of what to do or whats worked for you would be appreciated.

(I hope I put this in the right forum, I couldn't find current info under the search forum on SW and it was a bit disruptive in the free chat)

Go to the healthcare.gov website and put in your info. Then you'll get options as to what you qualify for, whether it's a state plan or private company. Some states will send you to their own website, but it's basically based on income. You can put in your income and see what private plans you'd qualify for quite easily, then do research on those companies and decide what deductable/amt. of coverage you're comfortable paying.

To get dental insurance, you can just sign up for the plan without healthcare or filling anything personal health info out. Delta Dental is one, I know there's a few. There's also Careington but it is a discount plan. Both are like $80-$125 per year or so, but it saves you sooooo much! I have both, but you only really need one.

You can research local dentists on Yelp and Google, and then call the seemingly good ones & ask them which insurances they take. Then google the names of the insurances and sign up for the plan online. That is what I did.
