    If so, what city are you thinking of working in? I can't decide whether it would be worthwhile to try out a club in one of the smaller surrounding towns, or just go straight to NYC and audition there.

    I won't be traveling, because I live 10 minutes from MetLife stadium, and so is the the club I work at. I'm expecting it to be super busy, but also a lot of girls and my club has already mentioned charging weekend house fees on weekdays and the Super Bowl Sunday. I'll probably be doing a private party Super Bowl night, but I'm sure it will be super packed at the clubs (at least after the game). But I've never worked a big event like this before, we shall see!

    That's if you have somewhere to stay. The hotels are crazy expensive and I'm quite sure they're all booked. And the traffic and commute will be insane I'm sure. If you're going to get hired, you should go now and try to prepare yourself because it would probably be very hard to get in the week of superbowl because it's next month. But good luck if you go.

    ^^I already have somewhere to stay. That didn't occur to me that it might be hard to get hired the week of. I wasn't really prepared to go earlier, hmm...

    @she wolf - It's in Jersey, February 2nd.

    I'm thinking about it since I don't have to pay for a hotel.

    ^ It's had enough to get hired at the top tier clubs on a normal basis. superbowl is going to be ridicoulous. I'm hired at 2 clubs and I'm not even going. Nola was a PIA having to stay with someone on airbnb and paying an arm and a leg and waiting an hour for a cab. There will be hour long waits to get in rooms. No thanks. It will equal out to the same amount as usual in the end...

    This might be a good thread for any locals to hop on and mention they have housing available and rent out their rooms/couch/transportation to travelers?

    I was wondering the same, I live in Jersey so the commute isn't bad I have done it to work in NYC in the past. And although clubs will be hard to get hired they also will be hiring on extra ladies b/c of the influx of customers, so it might not be as hard as normal. They want the customers to be happy. Super Bowl week is supposed to be insane money, my friend travelled two years in a row and last year banked in NOLA. I was going to go last year and didn't, I'm not missing out this year being so close. I'm just curious also if it's better to go to the city or stay in the smaller towns surrounding the stadium. There is an ad for one NJ on craigslist.com telling girls to come work Super Bowl week and zero house fees, also encouraging traveling dancers. I don't remember the name but if you go to NYC craigslist and type Superbowl in the search bar it will come up.

    Any other girl's thinking of traveling?? Or already do work near the Super Bowl?

    I will be working the week of. Good news is, clubs are hiring again now that december is over so if you can get here and secure your spot at a club then coming to work during super bowl week will be much easier for you since you won't have that added stress of not knowing if you have a place to work.

    Air BnB is a traveling dancers dream. You can rent shared rooms/a room/an entire apartment for way cheaper than a hotel would cost. I just traveled to NY and rented out an apartment and it was so much more comfortable than being in a hotel + saved on food costs and didn't kill my diet because I had a kitchen.

    During super bowl people are going to be charging 3-1000 a day. I was lucky and found a place in Nola during superbowl for about 200 a day but it was not as nice or as good of a deal I get on 4 star hotels on priceline but it was my only option.

    On a related note I'm not doing Wingbowl. My days are too sacrosanct. I like my sleep.

    I always wanted to try Wingbowl, but since it falls on the week of the SB I think I'll just stay in Jersey. It's probably too late to audition anyway (never worked in Philly).
