    Default I'm FINALLY a stripper

I've been on this board so long, I'm sure that comes as a shock...lol.

So I auditioned at the Lodge back in May and was rejected due to weight, got busy with family and school all semester and finally got the chance to try again last Saturday. I chose a VERY low tier club this time and was hired as I was walking up to the front door. Did background check, paperwork and was on the floor in no time.

I felt so awkward and there wasn't a lot of direction (not because everyone was rude, but because they were busy) so I found myself thanking my lucky stars for Stripper Web. All your advice was VERY valuable, memorable and came in super handy. I sold about 4 lapdances my first night, but I actually made quite a bit off stage sets too. Turns out I LOVE dancing. I got many compliments on it and was even asked if I was a professional dancer. I wasn't expecting that. I'd spend all night on stage if I could.

To other baby strippers or curious girls: my very first thought in the car after the club closed was, "This is the easiest job in the world. Why didn't I do it years ago??". Nothing that I thought was going to be an issue was actually an issue. No one saw my cellulite or my acne scars or my grey hair. I got complimented on my small breasts and pear shaped figure. I got told, "Don't you do dare set foot in a tanning bed, you're going to make a fortune off that ivory skin". I was even worried about being too introverted to make small talk, but many guys told me I was smart, funny and made them feel good. I was so scared before of guys trying to touch my pussy or being insulting, which did happen a couple times...but I was shocked at how easy it was to laugh off and walk away from. Never underestimate the thickness of your own skin.

My first night I made $91 and my second $220. Second night I hooked into my club's version of a whale...an aging rock star whose girlfriend had just cheated on him that day. I had a great time with him talking about life and music and even did a stage set with his leather jacket on (for which I charged him $40 lol). The biggest surprise about this job is how much I ENJOY it. I thought it would just be tolerable, a means to an end. But the staff are great to me, the customers are (mostly) sweet and respectful, and overall I just like walking in there and making cash every day. It's a super trashy club, but it's so humble and positive. I'm already ready to move up to a busier club with higher earning potential.

So there it is, my first night. An ENORMOUS thank you to all of you for answering my dumb questions and reassuring me all these months. I know I technically could have done it without you, but it would have been a hell of a lot more difficult. And if any other newbies have questions for another newbie, please ask away!

Sounds like a great first night! Good job! How are you feeling, physically?

I remember my first week as a dancer. The first day was awesome, but the next morning I felt like I'd been hit by a mack truck. I don't drink, either. I thought I was in good shape until I became a dancer. After my fist day I had sore muscles where I didn't even know I had muscles. By my third day (in a row) I could hardly walk. I needed advil just to climb the stairs of my apartment complex. I made it through my first booking by focusing on how much money I was making. This club required the girls to work 6 shifts of 10 hours each. This was a booking club that catered to traveling dancers. If you wanted to work there, you had to agree to the schedule or nothing. I think I lost 15 pounds in my first week!

Congratulations on getting hired. It's nice to hear that you're enjoying dancing so far. Good for you having the confidence to move up to a better club as well -- I find it can be hard for new girls to leave their first club even though it may not be the best club, so good on you chasing that money.

Yep. In Dallas you cannot work as a stripper if you have sex offender or drug charges.

Pretty much the same, lol. I imagine I've lost about 10 pounds already. And I already have an appointment at the chiropractor.

Congratulations! There is nothing wrong with enjoying your job in fact it makes a more time for everyone involved. I cannot tell you how many time a custy will tell me how nice I am, how I don't smell cheap, how much he enjoyed my dancing and conversation. I reply that you are supposed to enjoy it. When an entertainer isn't into her job you can tell and most don't want to be bothered with you. When you feel good you make the customers feel good and you make more money. Time goes faster too. Even though you are making good money it may not last so make sure you save a bit, (shoebox or bank) even if you do find another club, maintain connections with your current club because that's your bread and butter. That's great for building a customer base. If they know you will be there they will come back to see you.
