I work 2-4 hours then I leave, wether I'm making money or not. It's been MONTHS that I've worked more than 4 hrs. Am I burnt out? Even if it's packed I still leave.

how long have you been stripping? i feel ya, which is the only reason im glad my club has a schedule and i can't leave, so im forced to work the full 9 hours twice a week..but whenever i walk in, i get depressed. but then i pretty much know im burnt out by now and need a break, just can't afford one! a good thing to do is just go " i need 2/3/4 more dances before i leave!" and just keep doing that. think of all the things you want to buy, envision it and go after it!

For example, Friday night I had made $ 360 in one hour, the club was PACKED. Customers were waving at me while I was sitting with my 360$ and I wouldn't leave his side. I had a customer go put a twenty on my stage and I didn't go talk to him. After my 360$ left I paid my house and tipped and went home. I didn't have plans. My husband and I had ice cream after I got home and it was like 9ish. I had been at the club for an hour and thirty minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. Had I stayed I KNOW I would've banked but I DIDN'T WANT TO BE THERE. help me!!! Wtf is wrong with me?

maybe you just don't want to be there anymore, and should take a break! if you aren't strapped for cash and can afford to take a break, do that and then when you come back see if its different. no schedules at your club?

Not really... I know I shouldn't be doing that because it makes me look unreliable. Anyway, you're right. I need a break. I'm going to take a little off and tone up, buy new stuff etc = )

Btw Simone, I've been dancing 2 1/2 years

I am the same way girl! I have the attention span of a gnat so a 4 hour shift of anything is hard; I can't even pay attention through an hour long class at school.
Maybe you're just bored?
"People jack off with the left hand and point with the right."
"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."
One thing that helps me a little when I get burned out is making a list of things I want to buy/do, and how much they cost, and I go "Ok, if I make $X this night/week, then I can do/buy such-and-such thing."
But eventually even that didn't work, so you may just need time off for awhile. I bet a break will make you miss dancing/the money and you'll be dying to go back in a couple months!
Don't try to win over the haters. You are not the Jerk Whisperer.
Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

Do you live in a northern climate? I've got the winter time blues. January and February are my hardest months of the year due to the long, cold, dark days. If I had the money I'd take a vacation someplace warm and sunny as an attitude adjustment. Unfortunately, I just have to struggle through.
Can you just find a quiet corner to chill out in for the remainder of your shift? I download trashy romance novels onto my phone and read those when I feel like all my ability to hustle is gone. I continue to do my stage rotation, but then I plop my butt right back down again after my stages. Sometimes I make money in spite of myself.
If you don't have the will power to stay on your own, maybe find a club that has a minimum amount of hours you have to work per shift to essentially force you to stay?
OMG, I feel the exact same way. After two hours, I'm so ready physically and emotionally to leave the club and go back home. I think it's because it takes so much effort getting ready and getting to work that by the time I'm there I'm SO ready to check out.
I hope I overcome this.
