So I want to get in a lucrative and fun business and seeing how gentlemen's clubs are hoppin here in Las Vegas, I'm braking in the biz.
I have years of casino supervisory experienceand can work well with people. I am confident I could do any job just fine.
I know a dancer at the Rhino and she says during busy seasons, they clean up! Btw I'm 31 male so I can't dance. She said that even the cleaning guy makes a few hundred a night.
There is a new gentlemen's club opening near Town Square. The owner I believe has about 12 clubs ( The Gold Club). I checked out the building, and there used to be another club there (obviously didn't do well). The building seems kinda small.
They were accepting applications and I applied for anything, but told them I can manage people. They decided to make me a manager. I'll get some more info as far as pay when I'm officially hired (about 3 weeks). Sounds like I'll be one of the main men running the place.
I recently ran into a customer of mine when I worked as a supervisor of a card room. He is best friends with a high manager at Sapphire. I thought he was full of it, but he gave me a recommendation and the next day I filled out an app and I interviewed with him.
He sounded very interested in bringing me on if there are any spots open. He is going to speak with with the host manager to see if there is a spot there (seating guests, etc). He knows there is a limo spot open, but since I drive a taxi now and would rather be inside the club, I told him I would do it if it was the only opition to get my foot in the door.
My contact who drives a taxi as well says the limo guys make like $7 to $8k a month! That's insane money to me. No idea if they do that much. Anyone know?
The manager at Sapphire told me I should be hearing from him by Wednesday. If they offer me a limo spot or something else, would I be better off with a top notch club such as sapphire, even if I start the bottom? Or would a manager at a smaller, unestablished club still pay darn good even if business is so so?
The company said they are getting a billboard and will sending girls to promote at conventions and such.
Pay weighs in a fair amount, as I'm trying to pay off debts. I guess I'm worried if I pass up Sapphire (already established and usually packed when other clubs are dead) that the new place I'm at is slow and dead and not making money.
Do managers get cut in on tips?
Any insight would be appreciated.
