So I log in today and attempt to make a chat I receive an error message that reads "You were temporarily muted due to violating the rules. The mute lasts for the next two days. To prevent any further mutes, please take note of the rules."
Then I closed my browser at 11:58 am EST on the night before, after having completed my Black Demon task, and doing most of my Spiritual Mages tasks, in solitude with nobody else around. I didn't chat in the public, nor in clan chat. The only places I spoke were through Sal's Facebook friend chat and in Skype (irrelevant).
To my knowledge, I did not say anything offensive at all in Sal's, and even if I had that, it's not Sal's! Even though most of us are casual and don't have a tendency to hover around the Report button There are some people who report just to be annoying in the hope of getting disregarded. Also, WannaBePMod's. If you truly did offend anyone, in which case we're mostly good law-abiding citizens. the law is fudged.
In support of my assertion to support my claim, in my account management it states that I'll get been banned for another day with no proof showing up. It's muted by a player moderator meaning that the PM was required to be able to see you. They don't have to prove it since it is temporary anyway. This is why there is a good chance that it wasn't a formal report.
