I don't believe there is a list on here of all cities that require licenses (certainly wouldn't be a bad thing to have, but it'd be hard to ensure it's exhaustive), so your best bet is to figure out which cities you'd like to visit and then look them up specifically to find out.
If you run a search on the word license in Club Chat specifically, you'll get a pretty good idea of which cities to avoid. Looking through the first few pages, you'll need a license in Vegas, El Paso, Phoenix, Austin, Atlanta, Kansas, Asheville, etc., etc.
West palm beach licenses $75-don't think it expires

I think it is a good idea to make a thread like this and sticky it in Club Chat; if I compile one will a mod sticky it?
"People jack off with the left hand and point with the right."
"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."
If it's TS it's because a week or so ago police where in there checking you can get arrested and pay $500 unsure if you get the fee or club but not a good situation
Clarksville TN licenses most places I've danced only Id is required

I think you'll have to ask your club. I have worked in LA for years and NEVER heard of anyone needing a license to work here, and tonight I worked at a new club that had me fill out a license agreement. I told them I didn't want one and they told me that was fine, that they just have to have a certain numbers of girls at their club that have them... so your best bet is to just ask.

I would also point out that there are now two different types of licenses that dancers may encounter ...
The first is the traditional 'exotic dancer's' license ... which typically involves a background check for previous sex related or drug related arrests
The second is a ( small ) business license ... which has no background check, is not specific to exotic dancing, and basically 'alerts' city / state tax officials that they've got a new self-employed taxpayer in town !
