    Default Help with excess skin

I wasn't sure which section to post this in, so excuse me if I put it in the wrong place. So here's my situation. I lost a little over 100 LBS. I am completely happy with my weight, but now I've got a bunch of excess skin left over from being heavier. Are there any exercises that would help to tone up the excess skin? Or would I need surgery for that? And does anyone know... if insurance companies would cover this type of surgery? Thanks in advance

^Exercise and non invasive treatments (i.e. ultrashape, lipo etc) aren't that effective on excess skin. So, if it's something that really bothers you looking into surgery will certainly be beneficial and it would give you better results i.e. "tummy tuck". If you are worried about fees and insurance, it might be a good idea to do some research and book a consultation and get a quote.

Depending on where you go you can donate excess skin to burn victims, some practices will offer a discount incentive for doing so. It can take awhile for the skin to "snap back" so some surgeons may suggest you wait a specified period of time before surgery.
