Dizzy How to hide your stripping life?!

My family wants me to move in w/ my sister but if I do I don't know how to hide what I'm doing for work. If I said I just waitress at a club, is that believable? It's either that or move somewhere broke [until I get a stripper job] by myself. I only have till 2morrow to decide

I detach and vanish. In my mind, I am not human. I am a machine at the service of a madman that snatched my body and invaded my being when I was very young~

It is possible to hide it for a little while I think, if you are super careful. Keep all of your stripper stuff in your trunk or at work, get to the club super early b/c you will be doing most of your dolling-up there, deposit your $$ asap so there are no $1s floating around to raise suspicion, that sort of thing.

You either move in temporarily, & work your ass off so you can afford your own place as quickly as possible, but this is not smtg that is easy to keep from ppl living under the same roof. Do you not have even the option of crashing on sm1's couch for awhile?

Also, are you old enough to bartend? Whether to do it legitimately by itself/on the side of stripping or to tell your family you are waitressing+bartending?

Im already couch surfing and I can bartend but its not like those jobs are easy to get and what if my sister wants to come see me at work 1 day? I worked retail and you would not believe the random ass people you used to know showed up! Esp family members! Unnannounced!

    Tell her to get bent.

I had this problem a few yrs ago, I was dancing but my family thought I had an aviation job. My dad decided to take it upon himself to come visit me at work. Fortunately he told me he was coming, & my brother knew what was up & could be counted on to let me know if my dad decided to make a surprise visit. I had to tell him in no uncertain terms that if he was coming up to investigate me, he should save himself the time&$$ & stay home.

Now Idk if your sister would be coming by to investigate you the way my dad was doing, or if she just thinks it would be the shit to come in & have her sister be the bartender, but it is really not professional to have relatives/friends 'just dropping in' on you at work regardless of the job. Do you think that her dropping by would be a real possibility?

ETA Where do you live that ppl think it is ok to drop in on you at work? I nvr had that problem when I worked in retail, even in the city where I grew up -- at least if a friend was looking to come by for a few when it was slow, they rang me first to see if it was ok.
