    Default Mediafire Question

    *Dumb Question Alert*

I'm trying to upload content that has been burned to a disc on to my mediafire account. It is taking forever. Is this normal?

I'm not sure. But I do know that last week I was trying to upload a video to Mediafire, it took ages, would freeze at a certain percentage, and then fail. Again and again. Had to use SkyDrive in the end.

Be careful with media fire as they are not adult friendly. I had videos deleted from my page there. If you want a cam friendly upload site try cam redeem.

I'm afraid to use them after reading this post. I would hate to upload a bunch of stuff just to have the site go under.

Media Fire completely suspended and deleted my account 3 days after I paid them my monthly subscription.....for adult content......
I had them for about 6 months before they caught on and they have no grace for that stuff.....

I'm also going to recommend CamRedeem because it is most definitely adult-friendly. The other night this guy claimed that he was unable to download the video I sent him. I logged into my CR account and saw that the video had been downloaded twice. Now I already knew that the video had been downloaded once by my #1 reg, so the only other person who could've downloaded it was this other guy. I told him that it says it was downloaded, and that he will have to tip me another 100 tokens if he wants me to send another link. For all I know, he could've been trying to get another copy to give to a friend for a free.....

All I know is that in real life if you purchase something and then you lose it or ruin it, you wouldn't get a second one for free. You'd have to go purchase another one. Also, when CamRedeem's BETA period is over, they will be charging models for every video code they create. So, ladies, don't be giving these guys new video codes for free whenever they claim the first one "didn't work."

I wouldn't even bother with MediaFire. I'm sick of these sites that gotta make things hard for adult workers.

I wouldn't use CamRedeem at this point. I've tried contact them & received no reply. About 75% of the time when I try to upload videos it doesn't work. It either looks like it's uploading really fast and then the video isn't there, or it gets to 99% then fails.

Makes me mad that people start sites like this, get cam girls to trust them, then don't even have the manners to let us all know when they're jumping ship. I personally would've paid for video transfers. The fact that they're still allowing them to go through for free (when it works) makes me very suspicious. I'm not trusting them with content anymore.

Total thread jack, but this is happening to me on C4S at the moment. Does anyone know if there's anything else which would cause this?

I found that it happened to me more on my laptop than on my desktop. Windows 8 maybe? Or internet connection? That's the only thing I can think of. It's never happened to me on C4S, but I usually use FTP not Gizmo.

I second not using mediafire because of the risks involved. I've been using camredeem (all-be-it sparingly) the last few weeks and have had absolutely not issues. Hmmm..it does seem concerning though if they aren't replying to issues/emails.

Now that you mention it I did the update and went from Windows 8 to 8.1... I'll have to see if I can reverse it!

    Mediafire sucks hard.
I signed up with them and paid for a year's subscription, seeing nothing in their TOS about adult stuff. I also saw a nice banner across the top of the page offering a 30 day money back guarantee. Next day I find out they aren't adult friendly, so I email them and ask for my money back and they say they don't have a money back guarantee.. well then what the flip was that on your site advertising one? They don't give me my money back, but they are nice enough to close my account for adult videos. Fab.

Well without any other option I just do a free account, but it turns out the password protecting isn't so safe. I changed the password after every download so guys don't share, and every time I come back and the amount of downloads has absolutely skyrocketed... so has the amount of my videos floating around the internet.

I'm never going to use anything but camredeem if I can help it... praying they don't close down. I'd be willing to pay a lot more than they were planning on charging

WeTransfer is pretty good, but you can't control the deletion of your content. It's supposedly deleted automatically after two weeks. You just e-mail the customer the video, he clicks on a link, done. But apparently they now offer a paid subscription for $120/yr. Then you can have access to all your files. You create codes for download, etc. I was thinking of trying it but I'm just not sending out enough videos right now to justify the cost.

After the link is downloaded can it be shared or is it one time access?

I will re-read through the site again. I was going through their TOS and other info and could not find the information that I was looking for on WeTransfer. I was able to sign up for CamRedeem but after reading some of the posts about it am kinda antsy about it.

I think with pretty much any program mentioned in this thread, there's gonna be people for it or against it because of their different experiences with it. If you were concerned about the 'guys being able to share video links' thing and were considering CamRedeem anyway, why not just try it now while it's free and then if you don't like it just delete your stuff from there? At least then you'll have an adult-friendly place to store your videos for the time being.

I used CamRedeem the other night to send a video to a few guys, and had no problems at all.
