    Smiley Helpful & Quick Ways To Help With Anxiety & Panic

    hello! i thought this might be a helpful thread to start. i did do a search for similar threads and did not find any so i apologize if i happened to overlook one. anyway a trend of anxiety, depression, paranoa & panic attack seems to be plaguing myself and other ladies in all our various industries. whether it be romantic issues, money issues or just overall life i know that when these feelings hit you it can be very hard to overcome them. i recently found a pretty quick [just 10 minute] guided meditation video i have fallen in love with and wanted to share. i was curious if anyone else had any tips, tricks, videos, whatever that they use to help them during times of stress. it's so important to keep ourselves as emotionally and mentally beautiful as we keep our physical self. so here is my new fave video and i will gladly keep posting new ones as i find them. hope this helps someone like it helped me.

    just one more quick thing! i did a lot of research in college about dolphin therapy and benefits of echolocation, etc. a lot of great research out there suggests and proves huge benefits in not just swimming with dolphins but also simply listening to their sounds. here is one of my favorite relaxation videos; it is mostly background noise for you to enjoy throughout your day or when you are settling in for the night. at least that is what i use it for.

    i'm glad it helped here's another one i found that actually works very well for getting you focused and up in the morning. it's just background sound but the efficiency is pretty rad! totally grounds you and helps begin your day.

    This workbook was recommended to me by my last therapist. After I had a panic attack that put me in hospital, I browsed through it and found some really helpful tips about dealing with Anxiety and Depression.

    The most helpful things I have put in to practice in the book are the breathing excersises and a self questionnaire to go through when I start to feel that I am going into panic mode that helps me calm down by rationalizing the situation and understanding the worst case scenario is... If that happens will I be ok? What are the chances of that happening...etc.

    I'm going to try the above vids for meditation. I spend time on yoga but haven't started implementing a meditation time daily, which is very beneficial(according to the book).
