Rochester in the UK? I doubt you will get many responses as in general very little info on UK clubs on here.

I think the OP means Western NY as her other thread was inquiring about Buffalo clubs.

Rochester NY has a couple of issues of particular interest to dancers. The first is that the city's mainstay industry, Kodak, is now a 'shadow' of its former self ... which has 'taken a toll' on the local economy. The second is the city now requires dancers' licenses.

    from

    (snip)Sexually Oriented Business Manager/Employee License

Purpose: This license is required for an individual if he or she works in an establishment that involves nudity or sexually-oriented materials.

A Government issued Photo ID is required.

Fee: $40. There is a $10 fee for replacement of a lost license. Make checks payable to the "City of Rochester."

Expires January 31 each year; Approval is required by the Police Department.[ i.e. criminal and other background check will be performed - sic ]

Applications may require two to four weeks processing time.(snip)

However, there is a 'suburban' club near Rochester called Playmates ( it's in Byron NY ) that does not require a dancer's license, which ( supposedly ) has good dancer earnings potential ... IF you can get hired ( it's a small club ) and IF you're comfortable with high contact levels. Personally speaking, I haven't been to this club in years, though ... although indicates that not much has changed.
