And how did you learn?

And how did you learn?

to dance well, it took me about a month and a half as a total newbie..watching the other girls, having some girls give me pointers ( like keeping your legs straight, point your toes, shaking your ass, a few pole tricks etc.), and just getting into my own swing of things. i know a few girls who have been dancing for years and still don't know how though, i think it takes some natural ability, rhythm, and desire to learn

I took maybe six months worth of pole dance classes years and years before I started dancing. That gave me the basic foundation of how to move "sexy", and everything else I learned just from watching myself in the mirrors at work. It's an ongoing process.

How to dance or how to hustle?
Both are ongoing things... I've been dancing/hustling since I was 19 and I def learn something new everyday.

I always new how to dance.. Thanks dad for the pricey gymnastics trainings, dance classes, and cheer leading camps.. lol..
However, I do not feel like knowing how to dance has made me any money, except for stage money.. which is pretty minimal at clubs I tend to work at.
Hustling is what makes the big $$$ if you can conquer that your dance skills will not matter..

^ agreed that just knowing how to dance well is not as important ( although i think knowing how to move sexy and interact on stage is VERY important), but IMO giving a great, high -energy, sexy stage performance where you learn how to work the crowd and catch eyes matter a lot. at least for me, i can't even tell you how many guys have gotten dances after seeing me on stage.that's your time to shine and show case yourself.
Haha, I've been a stripper for ten years and I still can't dance! I just move slowly and go from one pose to the next. Oh, and do loads of floor work!

I started looking pretty good on stage about 4 months after I started. The club I started at was tiny, but all the walls were covered in mirrors to make the room seem larger. I just watched myself move every time I was on stage. I learned pretty quick what looked stupid and what was pretty.
It took me a few months to learn how to sell, about a year to develop a decent repertoire of stage moves, and about two years to look and feel like a polished stripper with a tan and contact lenses and a savings account and whatnot.
