The AFF I was describing for the cams.com affiliate meant Adult Friend Finder, the aff TM was describing I believe was short for affiliate.

Also, can you tell me how I can search my name, or cam profile on those sites, so I can at least be prepared with what a freeloader is talking about when he enters my chat and starts telling me his age, and what he looks like, and presses to meet him?. OY!!
    thanks ladies, Glam
Affiliates use our pictures on dating sites like match.com yeah. Not specifically that site, it could be any dating site.

Some of these affiliates go way too far. They will steal our images that aren't even on a cam site and make fake Twitter and FB accounts. Some of them have even been busted for making Skype and Yahoo accounts and using it to scam customers. I had an asshole steal pics off my website and make fake profiles on me. The link on the profiles were from Streamate's affiliate program so I turned him in. Promoting us is one thing, pretending to be us is another issue.

Affiliates have to make money to continue promoting , not on places that do not allow ADULT SERVICES

One time I did not appreciate what affiliates do for us and how much they do help no matter where they are pulling business for us.

I know for a fact it takes some creative skills to get certain ads placed , words cant be used etc and then realize this place is already swarmed w 5 SM affiliates.
    Back to the drawing board.

The other night I logged off at 1am, figured hey I will place these few ads and go to bed.
8am rolls around , im still up , cranking out 380.00 to have a ad placed in a mag for one month and its not a whole page
monthly fees to have a small banner go through a strip clubs television
We get together to cross promote esp golf season.. it use to be just my cammodels link and now Im doing it for everyone.
That is my money, not streamate. I don't even know if this will work but anything to bring in new customers.
Models complain that we are dead, dude, we are trying and you guys just throw it away. work it, hustle it.
There is so much work aff do that only if you have been a aff you will understand. It use to be easy, yes. not anymore , those days are dead.

I really hated aff back in the day, thought they where scum etc doing easy work.. its not easy these days

Marketing is not free and it is not cheap.

When I see models bitch where customers come from.. what are you guys as models doing to bring in traffic? Tweeting? Turning on a cam?

If you want YMCA traffic, promote yourself at the YMCA and see how far that gets you as a adult performer.

As far as the ads that show live models, I think you can opt out of those promotions by contacting SM

that is pretty low IMO. and cheap

With AFF and IMLIVE I know I have a profile but it also clearly states "live webcams" or something similar.
I have seen many fake twitter accts.

is informative and has good reads about this subject
    also
has a link to stolen profiles they have found.

^^ mainly those are for Skype shows and some unknown sites.

When you say streamate affiliate program do you mean the moneytree? is that what it is called?

Affiliates are even using hookup and dating apps like Tinder to pretend to be girls and get guys (potential customers) to sign up as a cam customer now. I saw a bunch of people on youtube complaining about it.

I had someone tell me that got my message from xdating. It looks like an escorts use it. Sure enough there is a link to live sex! http://xdatingwebcams.com/

Asked the guy what I said because I don't send messages. He said I said to come on here for a free show.
Tell him yeah this is it. It's called "freechat" If you want a real good show take me to private. And he did.

I signed up to check it out. Sure enough they got loads of bait accounts. With in minutes of activating I had messages from girls asking me why I haven't I uploaded a photo yet. Girls who say they are in Florida but there is clearly snow in the background. NICE.

But in all seriousness, I don't mind them. It does bring in traffic and I've gotten wonderful regs from it.
Also complete shit too. But I ignore those

Yes it was a Money Tree affiliate. He has made a bunch of profiles of different performers and was postings as them. I found my profile and reported it.
