    Default The Motivation Thread!

    i've noticed we have a lack of motivation thread! what tips, tricks, secrets do you ladies use to stay motivated to cam? especially during these slow days, weeks... months? i know every girl has their own hustle but what keeps you mentally prepared for the day until you reach your goal?

    personally when i dont feel like working i look through photos of places i want to visit and live. then i look up the prices to get there and cost of living once i do... and that generally helps me the most. plus of course some invigorating background music!

    i'm curious though what is everyone elses motivation?
    let's help eachother through this so far slow as hell winter
    love love love;

    Some people are driven by materialistic things, some people are driven by time, time off, bills etc. I would say that one should choose something that absolutely drives them, brings them pleasure when they think about it, or even brings them fear. Take a photo of that "thing", bill, or a bright posted note and put it on the wall facing your cam space or, place the post it note over your laptop. Seeing those images, bills, words starts to create a chemical process in our brain towards visualization and manifestation. I know that if most people want something bad enough, they will work hard at getting what they want. It really depends on what drives you and how badly you want it.

    What helps me is choosing a monthly or weekly goal, and dedicating each working day to fulfilling that goal. For example: Getting a new car is my February goal. I want to make around $5k. Once each goal is fulfilled, I remove it and post another goal on a post-it note so that I'm always striving for something. So far I've been able to pay bills, and save over $1k towards my $5k, March 7th car goal. By the end of this week, I will have $2k set aside for the car.

    I know that sometimes we just don't "feel" like working. I let myself feel, and then I do it anyway. So far, having a vision/dream board and or having visuals of my goal in front of me help keep me on track. It makes me happy knowing that every cent I make is going towards that goal. Since I've started it I've hit each goal! Last night, I decided to stay on just a bit longer since I needed another $100 to make my $300 daily goal, the phone rang and I got a 3.5 call pushing me well past my $300 goal. The caller spent $500 on that call with me. Visualization works!
