Default New Pleasers slipping on stage

I just got a pair of clear 8 inch Pleasers (graduated from 7) and they are pretty much the exact same as my old ones except they slip around on stage??? WTF? I had NO issue with my old pair EVER, they lasted me almost a year and I'm over here slipping around in my new ones. How can I fix this?

Put those stick on non scuff pads on the bottoms? Or, (this works w/other shoes nvr used on dance wear) take sandpaper rub on bottoms

I have also noticed that when I buy new shoes (8-inch pleasers) they are always slippery on stage for the first 2 or 3 shifts that I work, and then after that, they are fine! Have no idea what causes it.

Use sandpaper or take a knife and scratch up the bottoms to try and make it easier to get traction maybe? What do the bottoms look like?

The shoes might be defective, you could ask for a refund!

Scuff them on some pavement or like others have said, rub them with sandpaper.

that happens to me when i forget to take the little sticker label off the bottom (there's one on each shoe and they make the shoes slippery)
