Default getting rid of water weight?

So I am hugely bloated right now, not sure why, maybe I've just been eating too many carbs this week cause my period isn't due for another week... but I gained three pounds in two days and I know it's all water. My stomach feels huge!

One of the girls at work was telling I should use something called Waterworks from Whole Foods but I googled it and I don't see anything. Does anybody have any advice for something I can take? It really fucking sucks to have a bloated belly while wearing a bikini!!!! And all my jeans are tight at the moment

Overloading on carbs will definitely make you gain water weight; the body stores 3 grams of water for every gram of carbohydrate consumed. Sodium can be a culprit too. Even though you are a week away from your period that could totally be it -- I usually start gaining water weight about 7 or 8 days before I start & don't lose it until the second day or so, ughhhhhhh!

Things that have worked for me to get rid of bloat:
    -Ginger tea
    -Chamomile tea
-Mega-T Green Tea Water Pills (honestly, I don't know how safe these are though )

Yeah, you should be able to get them at a drugstore.

lemon juice, green tea, pineapple, yogurt, and drink more water! sounds counter-productive to do, but it helps a lot.

I have heard of dandelion root supplements working as a diuretic, be sure to drink a lot of water if you read up on them and try it. Then there is the poop teas...I don't really recommend this, but it definitely gets rid of water weight that's for sure. I think they have them in health food stores and I saw some in CVS. Basically they're labeled as diet teas. I accidentally took one thinking it was green tea (it was labeled as dancers tea or something). That was some good green tea until I started getting cramps and shitting. But after I noticed that whatever bloat I had was gone. If you do try these, just use them at your own discretion because like what la rouquine said, they're not the safest thing.

A lot of green tea shouldn't hurt either! I would try this first before any other kinds of supplements. Also exercise/drinking a LOT of water to help free up the bloat you already have. When your body notices its getting a lot more water, it lets go of the water its holding on to. This is usually my main method to get rid of bloat. After I go jogging for 30 min to an hour and drinking a lot of water, I see a noticeable decrease on my waistline.

The fix to water weight is drink more water, try to drink a lot of water daily. I used to hold a lot of water, and tried many different things but just drinking more water helps a lot and it keeps it away. My routine is a huge cup of coffee in the morning, then a lot of water throughout the day and some tea when I need something other than water. The downside is having to pee a lot of course. Plain yogurt also helps and as stated above, sauna. I recommend no laxatives though, it is a temporary fix and makes everything worse later, or at least that has been my experience.

I work with a few amateur fighters on their final cut, and although I hate the idea of using diuretics at all, dandelion root is the one thing I'll let them take if they absolutely have to, it's gentle and doesn't appear to be dangerous at all. I could tell you how we do a water cut, but I don't understand the particular female biology that's going on here so don't know that it's a good idea

I went to Walgreens last night the options were super limited, all I could find was Diurex. I found the green tea water pills online but not there and they didn't have any diet teas. I think CVS has more so I'm gonna stop there tomorrow and see. Hopefully the Diurex does something! I took some around 4am and I've been peeing like crazy since then!

The Spring Valley raspberry ketones from walmart work incredibly well for bloat. If you are about to eat a carb heavy meal take a couple white kidney bean extract pill like carb intercept.

The best thing I have ever found for water weight and a quick fix is called "Super Dieters Tea".

The stronger you make the tea the stronger it works. It is basically a powerful diuretic. For some they get a laxative effect from drinking it. I wouldn't use it on a regular basis because it could cause dehydration. But it is great for a random quick fix. Follow the instructions on the box to the letter though to stay safe. I find it in the tea aisle of most groceries stores i go to. Here it is on Amazon ...

I tried about 3 different things back in CA and they would work for when I woke up, but as soon as I ate something I was back to being bloated. I think it was related to my period though, because I weighed myself the morning before I got my period and I was 121 lbs... then I weighed myself after my period and I was 114. I have NEVER gained 7lbs of water weight in my life, no wonder I was feeling so bloated! Shit.

But I feel pretty normal now. I bought this tea from a pharmacy in London it's got dandelion, licorice and anise, it works wonders! I just drink it once or twice a day and it helps a lot.
