Women of color:
Shake your ass and preserve your heritage.
Bang those fucking drums.
Do it for the present and future generations.
Have fun and stick it to the man at the same time. (bad-dominicana)
I suppose I'm not too fancy lol. The only things I really wouldn't want to be without are:
my sunless tanners (jergens, hemp, etc),
my roc deep wrinkle serum and eye cream (basically just keeps breakouts from happening, plus anti aging)
clean and clear dual action moisturizer
st Ives apricot scrub
aaaand a heat protectant, doesn't really matter which one. Right now I use John Frieda.
Oh and VS bombshell perfume. Fave.
Shampoo: Don't use it
Conditioner: Any of the Suave Naturals. Gives me salon blowout hair, and I don't own a blowdryer!
Bodywash: Olive oil or Sunflower oil every couple of weeks.
Lotion: Calgon Parisian Charm and anything sweet from bodycology (only when going somewhere like a party)
Face wash: Coconut or flax oil to remove makeup
Moisturizer: Coconut oil if I'm wearing makeup the next day. SLATHER IT ON!!!

Perfume/Body spray: N/A, I prefer scented body lotions.
I don't use shampoo and avoid CO washing as much as possible (hair grows faster). I never wash my face unless I wore makeup. Same for body.
Also, putting coconut oil on for braids/no heat curling makes the curls BEAUTIFUL, frizz free, super soft, and holds it in place!

Face wash: Alba Botanica pineapple
Moisturizer: argan oil, organic coconut oil
Styling product: glossing serums like moroccan oil
Perfume/Body spray: Burberry London, Vera Wang Princess, etc

For facial cleansing I use a local natural brand called Phytocode (gel, toner, makeup remover).
Facial moisturizer - Lierac Initiatic smoothing fluid.
The shampoos are not that important to me, most of them contain sulphates anyway, even the most expensive ones. I often use L'oreal Elseve Color Vive, Avon or Shu Uemura for color treated hair.
For conditioning/nourishing, the best mask I have found so far is Shu Uemura Art of Hair Ultimate Remedy (really expensive but worth it), and Kerastase Elixir Ultime comes 2nd. The Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructor is also an excellent, very affordable product.
Bodywash - I love those bar soaps with loofah inside, and Dove Gentle Exfoliating Beauty Bar.
Styling products - the only ones I use are the finishing hair oils, like Kerastase Elixir Ultime, or CHI Silk Infusion.
Perfumes - Idylle by Guerlain, MaxMara and many others

I love the Sexy Hair products (I couldn't bring them with me on my move and I haven't found them here yet, very sad!). I use their root pump, their smooth and seal product, and then another general volumizer. And I love After Party by Bed Head.
For make up products-- I am in love with this Urban Decay spray make-up setting spray, it's awesome to spray on your face to keep your make up from smudging and getting oily. I'm a MAC addict so I pretty much can't live without anything by them... my favorite products by them are definitely their False Lashes Mascara, their pigment eyeshadows (their eyeshadows in general knock everyone out of the park) and their liquid eyeliner.

you can get them hair products here, TX Maxx sometimes has some, but call Selfridges and see, some where central maybe Harvey Nicks would have them.
xoxo

Dr Bronner's peppermint oil soap for... Everything. The liquid kind, diluted with water. And coconut oil for moisturizer unless I'm self tanning. For hair, Moroccan Oil treatment. Everything else kind of varies.

-Tea tree shampoo/conditioner
-John Frieda hair products for curly hair
-Coconut oil
These for now.

I only have a few products I can't live without.
Primer: too faced primed and poreless
Body cover: sally hansen airbrush legs (Covers my stretch marks, scars, and any breakouts I have on my ass)
Moisterizer: proactiv repairing lotion
Perfume: Chance by Chanel
Mascara: Waterproof L'Oreal Paris Voluminous False Fiber Lashes in Blackest Black (The best mascara EVER. Gentle on the eyes, doesn't smudge off, and makes your eyelashes look fake, full, and thick)
