Default Getting male friends or bf to tip you

Have you guys ever had male friends of boyfriends come to the club you are working in and while on stage they tip you just to get the crowd going and encourage the others to do the same? Just wondering after I saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKrsyhh3jQA (mark 4:30),does it work?

I don't like having people I know visit me at the club, and most clubs I've worked at have straight up banned boyfriends/husbands from visiting anyway.

I've never done it specifically with that in mind, but my husband comes to see me sometimes. It doesn't really seem to affect the crowd one way or another.

At my old club I had a few girls and guy friends to tip me I even had them make it rain with my own money lmao just to encourage tips because stage tipping at that club is almost non-existant now it made a few guys get into it a little more but noone went crazy.

it depends on the crowd..at my club, if there's nobody on stage chances are it will stay that way..the customers are like sheep, and if they see other customers are into me and tipping, the money starts coming. i really don't like having my boyfriend come in as its very uncomfortable, but maybe a regular or a friend. stages seem to be very good or very bad, and i've found that guys want to tip a girl that other guys are tipping

It can't hurt, people tend to "follow the crowd" more than be the first one to make a move but, i wouldnt bet the farm on that technique alone. It can work though. and it can completely fail. i would try it when the club has alot of people in it. as a rule of thumb, men want, what other men approve of so, in concept, it can put some extra change in your pocket on given nights, given the right set of circumstances.

Never done this before, but some of my friends at my old club and I would tip each other with our own money on stage and ask the DJ to comment... he would say something like "it's a sad day when the only ones tipping are the strippers, come on guys don't you want to show them how it's done?" It always worked!
