I had the same problem ... until i decided to do sport/gym
our problem can be an good thing too , fat ass can be so nice if it's muscular
you can make your body fit with cardio training

it take some time but in few months you can get a tonic and hot body shape
+ a round (and faty) bum

also is always good to drink water water and ...water !
alcohool is not good (a LOT of kalories with a lil bottle of yumy beer)
burger and pizza ect... is tasty not healthy (at all)
more veg and white meat + water

it's hard , but when you see the results you keep motivated

Just came across this article. Holy fucking hell the average American woman's waist is 34". That is almost 3 FEET around the middle. What the fuck is this country coming to? My hips are 35".

I know it seems pretty big when you say three feet but at the same time I'm kind of short and my waist is 27 inches and I couldn't reduce that number by more than an inch and remain healthy. I'm not exaggerating either, even when I was hospitalized and dying of anorexia, my waist never went below 25 inches. I would expect taller women with larger builds to have a larger waist than I do.

You also have to take into account the super obese women who are skewing that average with their 60 inch waists. There are a lot more of them than there used to be and there's no demographic to even them out.

there is a huge difference between 27" and 34". some fashion models that have boxy frames or square waists wear the smallest pant size and have a 25 or even 26" waist whereas there's only so much muscle you can put on to build bulk and I highly doubt a female can reach 34" without steroids. sadly, since the unhealthy fat is under the muscle and around the organs many ppl think they are as small as they can go because they perceive no jiggle but they are actually at the greatest risk for excess fat related diseases. im sure your waist looks lovely and is healthy.

My waist is about 26". I couldn't get up to 34 if tried and quite frankly I don't want to. I was also reading about vanity sizing. 50 odd years ago there was only about 3" difference between the "average" woman and a Hollywood celebrity. I'm curious.what my size is without "vanity sizing".

Like I said, the super obese are skewing the number. The difference between 34" and 27" is 7", obviously. I know I don't have the biggest possible healthy frame of a female so yeah, people can have a waist larger than 27" and be healthy and frankly, the sizes of fashion models are meaningless when it comes to the size of an average woman. As much as strippers might want to think that every woman needs flat abs to be healthy, they really don't.

No one suggested you should. Obviously, putting 8 inches on your waist would be unhealthy. I don't see what that has to do with anything I said.

Seriously, think about how often you see a very obese person in public. In the past, a woman with a 50 inch waist was so rare, she could join the circus and people would pay to look at her. Now, you see them walking around in public all the time.

The fact that the average waist size in America is 34" doesn't mean that most women have 34" waists. It's an average.

34in waist is appalling. I would think even 30 is far too big.

34 is too big to have as a waist. I remember when I once had a 30 inch waist and yes that was because I had gained weight and was too chubby (though not fat). Speaking of obesity, I think it depends on the area but I see super obese all the time. In the summer I help run a t-shirt stand for a car show and we have sizes small to 4x and you wouldn't believe how many 3 and 4 x people we get and that is HUGE. I don't even understand how someone could be that large. I generally wear a large in shirt but that's because I have large breasts (and like shirts to be a little bigger)but do wear a small to medium in pants.

I am a big believer in working out depending on your body type. I remember when I first start working out and gained weight. I would literally bawl thinking I was doing something wrong until my trainer told me I am a mesmorphic and tended to get very muscular and that added weight. However I went down a dress size. I have a weird bodytype with a large chest area and wide shoulders but tiny hips and butt. I gain weight in my stomach which can make it seem even weirder. This is why for me I like exercises like yoga and pilates and don't lift weights as much. I also love running and swimming.

you sound like the apple body type kelly, don't worry its not too weird! mesomorph is a great body type too, a lot of the hottest women are mesomorph apple types. it just means you carry your weight in the shoulders and boobs ( and stomach when you gain), and have a small ass and hips. i love studying different body types, there are so many different classifications

Yes I'm definitely an apple type. It has its advantages but I really wish I had bigger hips. I had a roommate who danced at the same club as me at the time who had huge hips and huge butt and made a killing from many men into that. She gained in her butt and hips and could pull off extra weight more than me.

^^^ You were a cute little dough ball Tempest! I have the big shoulders/ upper body thing going on too. Buying jackets sucks because XL is so big around the waist, but Larges make me have Frankenstein shoulders and are tight across the upper back. I started weight-training to build up my ass for a more proportionate look, it worked pretty quickly.

i'm a pear shaped gal... it's been running in the family for 4 generations, LOL. i have a teeny tiny waist, my pelvic bone is wide, fat is stored only on my ass and thighs, and i have cankles ! never could find a boot to fit besides the ones with strings in the back.

i have very narrow shoulders and tiny boobs, and the only way i could counterract that visual imbalance on camera, is to have BIG hair.. lotsa volume... jeans have always been a trouble for me.. i'd always had to buy the men's big size ones so my ass could fit in them, and i'd always had to get them tailored and cut about 4-5 inches from the bottom legs. FML..

^ i would love to still be that body type, they supposedly have smarter babies and are healthier! i do hear that pear shapes have an overabundance of estrogen tho which can lead to ovarian cysts and really painful periods.

yes simone, i have policystic ovaries sindrome.. found out 3 years ago when i went to the doctor to get a copper IUD in... the doctor said thet i'm lucky to be pear-shaped because apple-shaped people are more prone to diabetes and chronic illnesses... overall i'm white-skin and super super dark hair... especially on my lower legs... i even have black thick hair on my toes ! graphic, i know...

she said that she should prescribe me birth control pills to fix my cysts, but after the bloodwork was done, she said that due to so much body fat, my body produces so much estrogen like i would be taking 3 pills a day ! ... and she told me that if i'll lose the weight, chances are that the cysts would resorb..

in 3 years i've never gotten that monthly clear egg-white discharge associated with ovulation. i've lost 30 lbs since september 2013, and this is my 2nd month of getting it. YAY ME ! i don't think i'll ever want kids, but i'm glad of the good news that my body's healing, lol.

edit: i may be lucky, but varicose veins also runs in the family, and apparently, i've inherited it too. shit..

I'm a pear shape. My butt is disproportionately large for my body (although not in a "that looks weird" type of way), and that's the first place the fat goes when I gain weight. Getting my boobs done helped even things out a lot (I was pretty flat before), but I still wish it were smaller.
On the plus side, my waist is always the last place I gain, so my stomach stays pretty flat no matter what. Makes it hard to find pants that fit right though...
