    Default Amazon wishlist issues?

I used to have my cam girl wishlist connected to my main account, but it showed my real name. It worked for gifts though and people sent them.

Now I created a new one with my cam girl name and email. I entered my address. The wishlist I use is my main one. But people who try to order say the address doesn't work. I have my default address set. I can't seem to edit the address in the wishlist like I was able to when it was my secondary wishlist. I don't understand...? Why it won't send to my address? It just shows the customer's delivery address they say. Anyone know what's up?

I have the same issue. I made an Amazon wishlist a couple of weeks ago, I just added 3 or 4 items because I only wanted to try it. So far 2 people said they wanted to buy something but they canīt because there is no shipping address attached to the account. I thought that Amazon would use my own shipping address for default, but apparently it doesnīt work that way. I create a different account to verify what those 2 custies said and make sure they werenīt bullshitting me for get free shows/attention, but they were right, when you try to purchase something, you have to fill the address field because "there is not shipping address". So I donīt know if I have to add the address for myself somewhere. Iīm not sure if this is safe either :S

Are the items you've added from third party vendors (not delivered directly by Amazon)? You can see the vendor on the item's page. Amazon has an option that must be selected for other vendors to be able to deliver items gifted to you. However, Amazon warns that those vendors may give your address to the person paying for the gift. You're better off passing on anything not distributed by Amazon.

^ Oh I know. I didn't know that rule before, and it gave my address to a really creepy regular. Thankfully I've since moved from that address.

I did figure out how to change it though! You go to List Actions > Update List Profile and you can change the address there!

I don't have an amazon wishlist (I only accept giftcards) but I'm thinking about going through a mail forwarding service if I do get a wishlist. You put them down as your address and they forward everything to you. You do have to pay shipping costs and a low monthly fee (monthly fee is around $4-15 just to have the account open) but for security it seems worth it.

If you only accept giftcards from amazon, how can you list that on a profile like MFC? I copied and pasted the link but it isnt clickable

If you're gonna do that, then you may as well rent a PO box. In my area it's $10 a month or $80 a year. So pretty much the same price without the hassle!

I live in a small town so getting a PO box won't work. All someone has to do is see my city and they would be able to find me no problem. Does amazon even deliver to PO boxes anyway? I assumed since they use UPS for the majority that they wouldnt ship to PO boxes.

Yes, even if you only put items that amazon sells and sends (no third party vendors), the customers can still see your name (or any name you want to put) and your city. If you live in a small town, that won't do it

I made a wish list with gifts and gifts cards, no address listed but with a message saying to chose a gift, buy a gift card and tell me what to buy with it (to post a message on your wishlist you have to upload a picture, they'll give you space to caption it).

    Enjoy your new stuff

I added a picture and wrote a caption, but the picture only shows up as a tiny little avatar, and the caption doesn't seem to display anywhere. Help!
