    Default Do I qualify to claim taxes as a dancer?

    This would be my first time filing taxes. I'm wondering if I qualify cause I've been dancing on and fof ffor 6 months wit this club well I'm not on the books or anything bt do I need proof of anything to file ?

    no you don't need any 'official' tax documents from the club ( i.e. 1099 for independent contractors, W2 for employees ) to file a tax return. You just need to know the total amount of money you earned during 2013, the total amount of money you spent on costumes, shoes etc.
