Did you check with a doctor about that first?

Before spending money on "products", if I were you I would go see a doctor. Products can only help you out so much with something like this, because the cause of the issue is within your body. It could be stress, like you said, but it could also be a hormonal imbalance.

Nioxin. Shampoos, conditioners, serums, etc. i used one of their serums on my eyebrows. best decision ever.

Invati AVEDA products, or generally anything turmeric based.

I know some people incorporate more into their diet.

Thanks..I've always wanted to try the Aveda one you mentioned..I saw online today: apply aloe gel to scalp, arnica, jojoba oil, licorice tincture, rosemary oil, sage tea, not necessarily all @ the same time.

also, make sure you'll have a balanced diet of fruits, veggies, cheese, and the most important nutrient-packed foods for hair: oily fish / olive oil / nuts and seeds.

I had a similar problem 2 years ago. Telogen Effluvium can be caused by stress. I was losing 500-1000 hairs daily. I saw an endocrinologist, my gynecologist and a dermatologist and they all concluded it was caused by the extreme stress I was under. The hair loss stopped 6 months later, during which time some issues were resolved that lessened my stress level.

As much as I'd like to say there is some miracle product that will help, there isn't. If your hair loss is caused by stress, you HAVE to find a way to reduce your stress level.

The dermatologist recommended red light therapy to help regrow lost hair but I didn't try it. I was more focused on *stopping* the hair loss than regrowing what was already gone.

Yea, thanks it's not just stress, it's hormonal as well..looking into hormone therapy, & DHT blocker supplements (DHT is what causes hair to fall out). I'd love to get a laser comb, but they're like $300+

Biotin capsules really help with all hair issues. It's best to get the 5,000 mcg capsules. They are safe and inexpensive.

biotin capsules, scalp massages with coconut oil and castor oil ( especially black castor oil), a really good diet, sleep..maybe rogain? you really have to get to the source of hair loss before you can begin to try and grow it back though :/

How is your sleeping habit? Mine falls out a lot when I have a fucked up sleeping pattern. Not getting enough rest and a little bit of stress.

Yeah the rogaine stuff isn't for me, I tend towards high blood pressure..this is true & I'm trying to work on it, my sleeping pattern. Also trying to eat better..I read that using dandruff shampoo clears the scalp

I figured when I read the first post it was hormonal. I have no suggestions but I wish you luck. I can imagine losing your hair is very traumatising.

I am sorry - I have had my hair start falling out after hormonal issues but it was years ago. So can't really help. :S
