@Modelwillow I've actually heard the exact opposite. Kink kind of reminds me of Google. They're big on promoting a certain image of being the "good guys" when in reality they're no better. I read a really horrifying post about the Nicki Blue debacle (long story short: threw a big party for a girl to lose her virginity live on cam, paired her with a guy with a huge cock, tied her up in a way that he had trouble penetrating, kept trying and trying but it wouldn't go in, she was clearly in pain--not the good kind--and asked him to stop but he didn't stop right away, they ended up injecting her vag with numbing agents so they could finish the shoot, then they tried to keep everyone who was watching quiet about what happened), can't seem to find it right now but if I do I'll edit it in. I've heard similar concerns about safety and professionalism over at Kink... honestly the company kind of grosses me out and it's part of the reason why I was hesitant to sign up with Kinklive, however I recognize that if other sites had a business model in which they worked so closely with their models they would likely have similar issues. But the whole thing kind of grosses me out now.
However it's definitely interesting to hear about different approaches to camming/sex work and I'm sure working in the Armory will be a fascinating experience
EDIT:
Found it! (<-- Changed the link, the first link went to
this article, which talks in depth about working in the Armory but wasn't specifically about Nicki Blue.)
