I've been on rude.com since 2007 so this website for me is mostly used for voyeur cams, sometimes a weekly live group show and I just started logging in for the phone sex feature Rude Calls and I upload my recorded private shows, and sometimes sell things in my store. I highly recommend rude for people who want a back up site they use as a place to upload videos for sale, and don't mind having voyeur cams run while they work and maybe dabble in their other features.

I focused more on where you can make money on rude because once you sign up on there their information is pretty all there for you. from when and where you get paid and how to customize your profile page.

Getting started
Sign up on rude and become a producer.[/URL] Getting approved takes about 1 - 2 days maybe faster if you can email support.

Make Money

• Private Lobby - The site now has 2 place to make money from webcam shows. Rude became a whitelabel or studio I am not sure for cams.com If you already have an account on cams you do not need to sign up again on rude.com Main place to do cam shows on rude is in the private lobby - you can keep it running while you split cam another site. You can not tell customers on rude that you are on cams.com they just have to find you in the private cams home page.
• Rude Flix - This where you can make money from your videos. I upload my recorded cam shows and make money that way, the break down is 50% . They have it set as purchase, download and on-demand rental.
• Private Show Archive- If you get a show in the private lobby your show is automatically archieved for resale.
• Rude PIix - make money from photo sets.
• Custom Content You can make money doing custom content on rude you, there is a box in your control panel that will give you option of different type of customs you can offer, pic gram, pictures, video grams and clips.
• Rude Calls - phone sex service on rude.
• Voyeur Cams - This is the feature I love the most and wished most sites had this. Rude uses a flash broadcaster software to turn your computer into a multi-usb use for your webcams, To make the most of voyeur cams, you need 2 or more webcams placed around your room or home. You earn money from room tips and snapshots.

Also you can upload mobile pics, create erotic stories, and sell items in the rude store. Plus shop in the rude store.

Rude also offers

• They have their own internal community forum. (This is where I learned about watermarking my cam feed)
• buy 1 on get 1 webcam program - they give out the most current webcam on the market.
• free website hosting. I used it for many years it was wonderful , it was a great feeling never having to worry about paying a hosting fee.
• As a procuder you have full access to everyone else voyeur shows, live group shows, and you can use your chips you earn to spend money on the site in the store or on other models. I personally have only perved in other peoples voyeur cam rooms and shopped in the store - got myself webcams and sex toys.

been there since dec 2012 apparently and have all my 'fat' pix (even tho im still fat lol)which are my old escort photos uploaded. i need to add new content up now that i'm about 100 pounds lighter . i was about 280 i think when the piks i have in my profile were taken and i'm around 200 now maybe a little less. they gave me free producer status i think because on there on the site so long. i never used the site to make money because i think when u make a new account u have to pay for it and i didnt like that

Does anyone cam on rude? Curious about camming there. I think payout is 50%? I clicked it earlier, seems the recommended rates are around $3-4min. I did a live show there like 2 years ago, but haven't fiddled with it since then. I need new places to cam, traffic and issues with sites are giving me headaches lately where I normally cam.

Most of my videos are fetish related. I've been getting 2-5 sales a week, and I've only been back there selling content for a month. There's a $100 holdback though I don't think anyone mentioned. After that they payout in $50 increments or atleast via payoneer its $50 increments. If you do sign up you will get most of your fans within the first few weeks or so, so get approved as a producer as soon as you can, and update videos etc alot during that time

I personally do not recommend rude.com to ANY camgirl ever! It was the first site I cammed on back in 2009 and lets just say they locked me out of my account/kicked me off without pay. I had over $850 in my account at the time might I add. Instead of deleting my page they locked me out and kept my page up for an entire year before I was able to get it took down by filing a long and extensive DCMA. My stuff was selling for over a year and I did not receive any revenue from it! I was 18, new to camming and LIFE and it almost devastated me! I remember this is the whole reason I started my own website. Then on top of that Rude.com WILL leak your content/recorded shows/any videos that you upload there to get traffic to their site (because they have none) so ladies trust me do not waste your time! Rude is the reason I started my own website, found out abt streamate/mfc & etc and it was the best thing I ever did! When I worked on that site it was the only time my vids/pics where all over the net! Anything u upload there will leak. Plus now all the traffic is gone it died in 2009. & its full of affiliate links/banners. It's no point in wasting your energy just stick with the real camsites where you can really brand yourself! Trust me! I know other models who they did the same thing to and their staff is rude as hell. Just my warning to you but it's a free country I personally don't think it's worth it and Oh you'll NEVER see that "$100 holdback" lol

Sorry you had that experience but as far as leaking stuff, Ive had videos sitting there for 2 years and not active on the site, the videos sold, over $200 worth, and none of those videos I can find anywhere on the net, all my leaked stuff is never videos, its cam shows and they weren't leaked from rude but from other sites, as far as people viewing them for free, they do have a thing you can opt in or out of, people can watch them for free in the rude vault and after so many views you get paid, I personally opted out of this. But I've only been back there a month, and not only did it let me cash out $100 from the $200, I've already sold over $40 worth of videos and only been back there like 3 weeks. $10 away from cashing out this month. <-and I only have like 30 videos and 10 photo sets uploaded as of right now, thats more than I've sold on Clips4sale this month, and I have 150 videos uploaded on clips4sale so yeah....I have to disagree on the no traffic thing as well. xD. But to each their own.

I just use them for traffic to my website. Have never cammed nor sold any clips. Just went through the process of becoming a producer. In the beginning I used the site with trepidation and I still do. Initially I wanted to get involved in the Rude community but after a few snarky emails from the staff and one nasty comment in the forum I realized it wasn't for me. I'm unfamiliar with the $100 holdback because I have never sold anything on site. I would suggest uploading you stuff slowly just to see how it goes.

Enter a city you dont live at in there. That part has nothing to do with payment.

And I think its pretty awesome most of mine have been photo sells. Its hard to find sites where guys actually wanna buy photo sets anymore. I price my photos .25 each

I only upload videos and use the voyeur cams. I've always been paid from rude even with my low activity on there.

Sometimes, I forget about Rude, but that was my first real cam spot. When I was active there, I hosted shows and live house cams, as well as dabbled in private cam and RudeCalls. I still generate chips from time to time from clips and pix I posted about 3 years ago. Every time I've interacted with staff there, they've always been awesome to me -- And I mean, I've done things like missed shows, which is a big no-no, and they worked with me. Anytime I've requested payout, I received accurate payment in a timely manner. Though I got great exposure there, I don't care for some of the restrictions, but totally understand about keeping things in-house, so I branched off to SM & MFC. They're cool to me, just been focusing on venues that offer direct deposit and drive better paying traffic. I don't like that $100 hold, but it's been explained to me that's it's to cover any possible chargebacks... Still don't like it.

So yeah, I've got a banner on my site that leads to my profile there. Perhaps I'll consider the voyeur cams again, which is a fantastic promotional tool among a few other things. Ahh, there's just so many options out here!

Wait... I wasn't aware of the website hosting. I might wanna dig into that and see what's that's about.
