Default First Strip Trip Across U.S. Suggestions welcome.

Hey ladies! I recently decided that I need to get out and experience life. I'm selling all my things, and travelling west from Tennessee in about a month. My plan is to make my way west while stopping in cities along the way to work a few nights at the local clubs.

So, basically, what I'm doing right now is just googling any strip club with three or more stars on TUSCL in each of the states I want to travel through, then I'm going to input them into an online route planner and figure out the best route from there.

Any suggestions on cities I should most definitely try out? I'm thinking New Orleans, probably Huntsville... I also want to check out Atlanta clubs just for the experience because I hear they're wild! Houston, Denver... big cities of course, but also smaller lesser known ones since I'm used to working at a dive and I make good money there.

I'm a little intimidated by the larger cities because I'm not so great on stage. I know like, 3 pole tricks and they're easy as pie - I make my money through my hustle as opposed to advertising myself with my stage work. I know bigger cities have ladies that are basically acrobats on the pole but with my hustle I should be fine, I hope?

Anyway, sorry for the ramble. This is a big step in my new life and I'm super excited and scared (in a good way). Any helpful hints or stories about your own experiences are definitely needed!! Thanks

NOLA is going to be dead come summer. Pole tricks are irrelevant unless you're at an urban club. Philly is a pretty big city and I do just fine without one single pole trick.

If you're white I suggest almost anywhere in the Southwest, Albuquerque especially. They looooove white girls.

Skip all of Arizona. Summer is the 'dead' season in AZ, and it's the land of $10 dances. You would also need a license to work in Phoenix (as well as in some of the cities surrounding PHX).

It's possible to make a bit of money there, but your time would be better spent elsewhere.

Atlanta is a mass of bureaucracy and bootyshaking. I have neither the aptitude or patience for those.

the bigger the club the less time you spend onstage so even if stage is really important (in my experience, it almost never is and even when it's a semi big thing all styles of dance are equally respected) you won't spend much time up. lv is almost no stage but the licensing is a real hassle.

You need a license to work in Nashville, it's $80 now I believe. I think all they do is background check for prostitution charges and fingerprint you. Then there's a club near Ft. Campbell called Cat West, it's technically in Kentucky but it's right on the line and big for the army guys... it's a $350 license. Then there's clubs in Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga and as far as I know, you don't need a license to work there, just Nashville.

    Thanks, y'all!

Go north! Atlanta is not conducive for traveling dancers due to the high licensing fees and the clubs keep your license, making it difficult to change clubs. Vegas and Reno are good places to try. I've danced in both cities and made good money. Licensing is pretty easy, and they get you your entertainer permit within 24 hours, so you can start working almost immediately in NV. I liked working in Fargo, ND and Sioux Falls, SD. No licensing and the clubs don't tolerate extras. There is lots of money in the Dakotas right now because of the oil boom. Portland is a riot to work in, but you won't get rich there. Definitely worth the experience, and no licenses required. I'd say skip California as it is really hard to make money there unless you are willing to give extreme extras. Phoenix can be hit or miss, and the summer is the wrong time to dance there, anyway.

I've always wanted to dance at The Lodge in Dallas and The Lumberyard in Des Moines. Both are legendary clubs. Not sure if there is any actual money to be earned in either place, but I'd like to do it just to say that I worked there.

I'm curious about why you say the Lodge is legendary.

I recommend northern cities. Montana actually has great money. The clubs are divey but there are only seven in that whole big old state. I love working in Seattle, my summer club is there. I'm currently in DFW, I also love working here.just came from Vegas which is good but don't go expecting too much. Wild Orchid in Reno was good. Don't bother with San Fran unless you end up at a good club like Gold Club or Hustler or Penthouse. I hate dancing in Portland because there is not enough money in the clubs for me. If you do go there, Union Jack's is a good bet. Have fun and don't stress if you don't make what you want in a certain place. You can always move! I have been strip tripping for three years and it has been an amazing experience, but I haven't been in it so much to make a profit as to keep traveling. It's hard to make a profit and pay for travel expenses. Check out hostels in cities to stay in. Some are really cool and some are really gross so be careful. Always check for bedbugs! That can fuck up your ability to work. Even nice hotels can have them. Gross.

Try Beaumont if you're in Texas. The gold club there used to have money when I worked back in 05. I know it's some years back, lol but probably worth a try. Although Houston isn't that great during the summer it maybe possible to pull maybe 4-500 a shift out. OTC is coming up next month so if you're there during the first week of may then try out Treasures, Men's Club and Colorados because the guys will most likely be in those clubs. Not sure if OTC brings the deep pockets in the clubs anymore though because it was slacking a bit back in 07 and 08 which was the last time I worked. Dallas is probably worth the try as well. Silver city was decent years ago. But I think Ricks owns them now.

i'm heading to montana in 17 days (but who's counting? lol). i'm gonna try both clubs in missoula at some point while i'm there. i've been to the fox club cabaret as a customer a few times and it never seemed quite packed, but people were nice enough i guess (i'm from NJ, everyone in montana seems nice to me). i went to fred's lounge once (again, as a customer), saw what was on stage, turned around and left, lol.

You also need a license to work in Atlanta and the clubs are nothing special. Also $10 lap dances which means VIP is necessary & IMO a big freaking headache. Granted they are fairly easy to get if you're not an extras girl very exhausting. I've worked in NYC it was fun. I'm jelly I wish I didn't have dogs I would do this.Def research before heading out & make a plan so you don't have too many problems. Good luck

I agree that the Dakotas and Wyoming are good. Houston is also very good. I would try treasures.

Also, how much you earn means nothing if you aren't able to save any. I would definitely recommend hostels or airbnb for places to stay. Also, drink protein shakes between meals. It staves off hunger and helps you stay fit on the road. It is easy to forget that you are not on vacation while on a strip trip. Foodie temptations abound! Good luck and don't stress. Go see something beautiful every few days.

If you decide not to do New Orleans, Shreveport is really not bad. They do require a license but it's cheap <$100 and I always made ~$800 on the weekends. Week days are hit and miss. Less customers but also less competition. And about summer being slow, I think it's slow everywhere in the summer time so I wouldn't let that deter you so much. I'm going to Vegas to dance this summer regardless of people saying its slow. Feel free to message me. I love travel dancing and I have lots of friends at hustler in shreveport if you want some friendly faces. Also, there is a hustler house for travelers to stay in.

^ I've been wanting to try that club for years and forgot about it since I always worked in Nola dec-feb. I can go there this year. Can you give me info on who to talk to about the house? Do I send a pic and get ok'd? That's what I did in Baton Rouge. Though I'd never go back there. I have my set places all year except dec-feb.

I can ask when I go to work tonight for sure but our GM is named John. I'm thinking he would know more about the house than anyone. Another manager you could talk to is Melissa. I've never been a traveller there so I'm not sure whether you would send a pic to get hired or what. I got hired by just walking in. I would just call and ask. Travelling dancers aren't uncommon there. We had several girls that come from Dallas to work the weekends.

^ Thanks. My GF got hired there when she worked in Lafayette but is Canadian and didn't have the info to get her license. It wouldn't be until jan and feb because I'm getting surgery in dec. I may need it sooner and then I would go then but I'll probably aim to go in jan and feb.

John wasn't there when I worked the other night but all the girls I talked to said that he wouldn't let anyone stay at the hustler house unless they knew him or someone else. Obviously for the safety of the girls. If you are confident that you will get hired pretty much anywhere I would include it in your route. Calling and asking to talk to John or Melissa wouldn't hurt either if you wanted some more information. He will probably want to meet you in person before hiring you. Best of luck!

I wasn't sure since you said they provided housing. Usually you send a pic. I've worked in 50 top clubs all over the country so I;m sure John should like me. He loved my gf and we look a bit a like people say. So I guess if they get to know me and see I'm a major hustler/ top producer they'd let me stay at that place? I stayed at the condo in B.R. that club is owned by Penthouse nola.
