    Default Anyone speak Japanese?

We've been getting customers in the club from Japan, lately, and they don't buy lap dances, only tip at stage. I've tried multiple times to sell dances, but the language and cultural barrier is making that task impossible.

I was just wondering if anyone knows some basic phrases for closing dance sales in the Japanese language? Guam girls? Aussie girls? A little help would be most appreciated!

I don't know any Japanese phrases, but with guys from Japan I find a more sensual, slow-paced hustle works best... I once used my "how about I take you back there and get naked for you?" line on a Japanese guy and he looked at me like I was a total whore. I try and be a little more geisha-like and a little less sexy-stripper with them and it usually works better.

If they don't tip, tell them: omae wa baka. Omae is a very unpolite way of saying you (as opposed to "anata" and "kimi") and baka means stupid/fool/silly. Ok, I'm kidding: don't be rude to a Japanese you don't know.

Second (this is more cultural), most Japanese people aren't that into lap dances. They enjoy the stage shows and the showmanship. In Japan, they don't have clubs like the ones in here (with lap dances). The closest thing are the hostess clubs (women who sit with those men and talk and BS with them but that's it), and the "sopurando" (Turkish bathhouses, which are like massage parlots in here).

In SW, there is a member (Papilow, I think that's how her name is spelled) who lives in Japan and can help you out. My Japanese is quite rusty 'cause I haven't used it in a while. Gomenasai (sorry).

Yea, I read a book about a lady that worked as a hostess in Japan, interesting. I heard also they have a coffee shop w/mirrored floors, & the waitresses don't wear panties

I spent some time living in Japan and what some of the PPs said is right on. Most Japanese men are shy and need a more gentle approach. I've found just greeting them and using some basic Japanese phrases really impresses them. I will usually sit with them a little longer than I would American customers before I ask them for dances. Discuss their jobs and business rather than being too sexual at first. In my experience they've been more interested in the VIP room than single dances around everyone else. If you can convey the private rooms to them you might have more luck. Most of all be cute and lady like. I actually always make pretty good $ off Japanese (and other international) men, just by knowing a few phrases in their language, a little about their country and being patient. Once you get them to relax and open up--$$$$$!

Try reading through this thread (Yes, it is a very old thread but a LOT of useful stuff is in it) https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...speak-japanese!

I lived in Guam for almost 5 years and about 25% of my money was from Japanese, I never learned but a few very basic words that stuck with me. Unless you are going to Guam, it could be a lot different on how you make money off of them, it was easy there because we had the mamasans do the speaking and hustling to them for us.

Japanese like being entertained and most of the older business men type actually just want a pretty girl to sit beside of them and hardly interact with them. If you want to try selling dances to them, what I would do is point to the lapdance area, smile at them, give a sexy move, etc... and they should pick up on what you are trying to get at. If they say yes, just make sure they understand the price, use your fingers to point it out or the best way would be to write it out or use your phone if you have those options available. Another thing you could try is practicing Japanese with them and teaching them a little English, most Japanese love this kind of stuff> This might only work if you are in an area where you get drink commission though or you get lucky enough to sell a VIP room to them, or if they will pay for your time sitting there which I don't know how well will go over with them honestly, I'm used to getting paid sitting with them with drink commissions.

Also be aware that there are strip clubs in Japan so it's not like they don't know what's going on. Leading them to the dance room as MiraMichele suggested is a good idea. You don't really need to know a lot of the language to get your point across.
