Search How to attach cam for best angles

Hi ladies! While being a lazy camho today & not working I'm thinking of ways to improve the camming experience for custies which will improve my earnings at the end of the day. I did a search of course but couldn't find any info. I use a Logitech C920 webcam and I usually attach it to my laptop which sits on a shoebox on the floor. Yes I'm currently a "floor-crawler". It's working for me pretty well but when I check out other models sometimes I notice that they're able to move their cam alot more than just up & down. I assume they have some type of attachment or something that the cam is on which allows it to be twisted or moved with a lot more range of motion than I get with it just being attached to the top of the laptop.

Forgive me......I'm not that creative to figure this out. I want to improve my POV a bit for the shows, gold shows for sure. I would appreciate any ideas or tips/tricks ya'll use for this.

    Thank You!

I don't have a C920 (yet!) but I believe it has a tripod mount? So you could invest in a cheap universal tripod which would allow your cam much more movement.

I have seen models attach their cameras to various pieces of furniture.

Thanks for the input RedAlice! I may try that. Not sure about the tripod mount. It has an adjustable clip........Oh yeah I see the mount now. I need some new angles. May have to invest in the tripod afterall.

Yep, the C920 has a tripod mount (I just got one yayy!). I found my tripod at a yard sale for $5, SCORE! I have seen little desk tripods at the dollar store. Also Amazon has some cool super adjustable ones like this: http://www.amazon.com/Joby-GP1-A1EN-...=webcam+tripod

I clip my cam (same as yours) onto the arm of my tall lamp, and use a clothespin to make sure the chord doesn't drop and pull the cam. redneck style!!

I clip mine to the handle of a coffee cup and put it on the dresser next to my bed. Classy.

I've got my cam attached to the top of my monitor, but the whole computer is on a wheeled cart. I can move the cart around easily to adjust the cam left, right, closer, or further away. I like having the cam as close to my screen as possible so if I'm trying to make "eye contact" with the customer, I can still see his comments out of the corner of my eye. Likewise, when I'm reading shit on my screen, it looks like I've just lowered my eyes a little, rather than turning away from the cam to look at a screen that's somewhere else.

I have the C920 and I love how portable it is. The one thing I love about it is that it can actually stand up on its own quite well (my 9000 would fall over a lot.)

I do love the tripod mount but how I mainly use it is to just have it sitting on its flat base like this (http://userdisk.webry.biglobe.ne.jp/...5_DSC07084.jpg) and just move it all around my desk area or have it on top of my laptop monitor.

I have my c920 clipped onto a plastic one foot tall garbage pail thingy lol I found it in my closet over a year ago and the cam hooks perfectly onto it. I stick a couple jar candles inside for weight. I have that placed on a small piece of furniture right in front of my bed. Eventually I would love to get a cart that rolls. My lap top is on my bed but sitting on a big tupperwear filled with my rock collection from when I was younger lol…heyyy all those stones may emit awesome energy sometimes lol.
It's all perfectly leveled to where it brings out my best angles.

    Good luck with everything =)

the c615 and 920 have a tripod mount you might need to take out a plastic ring stoppers. there are tripods and tripod arms that can give different angels, I had mine on a remote tripod head so it would pan around the room.

I have mine rubber-banded to the stem of a floor lamp. It's pretty ghetto but it's easy to move it up/down/left/right and I can physically pick up the floor lamp (it's very light) to move it around if I have to. I did the same when I worked from the floor (just had it lower on the stem) and it worked fine.

There are SUPER cheap tripods on tigerdirect.com like, 14 dollars. Anywhere from being a floor crawler (love that) to standing it's got me covered. Good for pov, well made, and more extend-y things than you can shake a stick at!

I have a little Polaroid tripod, and its totally awesome because the logitech 920 can be attached to it (the screw of tripod fits inside the little logitech attachment hole perfectly and will never fall down again) I figured this out after having the cam taped to it for weeks... *facepalm*
    http://www.amazon.com/Polaroid-Inclu.../dp/B004W4BAUO

I can adjust my cam just by foot (because of the "handgrip?" the tripod has, which I totally love
When you buy remember that the little handgrip with which you can mose the cam around, has to be screwed a little bit looser when it gets stuck and doesnt move fluently anymore. (when I turn the cam down I always automatically screw the handgrip tighter, so I have to unscrew it a lot of times a day bu giving it a little twirl)

I used to use a tripod but found it to be a hassle and hard to get the heights I wanted for different angles. Now I just mount my c920 to the top of my monitor for free chat and then move the camera itself to my desk (for ass shots or views looking up) and then move it to the floor for masturbation or riding shots. Perfect angles and easy as pie.

I had the JOBI, it was cool at first, but it doesn't last.. I now have a targus tripod that I purchased from amazon, the one that goes as high as 60 inches...and I use furniture too..whatever...even a roll of duck tape to hold it when I have it down low for upskirts etc..
