^^^ officially, two arguments can be made as to whether camming is a 'domestic' activity in the UK ( and other countries ). The first is that the income may be 'domestic' if the company paying the money is located within the country. The second is that money earned from the company is being deposited / routed through a bank account located within that country. For an American visiting the UK, and working through a non UK based webcam host, with the resulting earnings still being deposited to a US bank account, HMRC will have great difficulty laying a claim to that income.
The bad news, of course, is that the IRS will definitely lay claim to that income, since the USA is virtually alone in taxing the world-wide income of its citizens.
