I worked there before. I'm sure making $1,500-$2000 is possible, but every night? Hell no.
I'm more surprised the girls willingly out themselves like that. I hope the IRS doesn't go get them.
That's $5-700 a shift, which I think is doable in many clubs, especially for a hustler and/or when there's VIP.
I have had it happen. Not regularly but at our club for an hour you make 450 so if u can talk a drunk guy into an hour or more...kachina. Lol

I don't think that's unreasonable for three days. I think $2000 is an unreasonable nightly average for that place, but definitely doable in three days. I'm just concerned because the article gives out a lot of personal info about the dancers... I don't think I'd want people knowing where I go to school, what I'm studying, where my family's from... and especially how much money I'm making. I hope they're paying their taxes and being honest about it.

um those girls said they aare hiding this from their parents but they had their stage names, real names, work pic and irl pic posted side by side? who would do this??? forget the irs, they are inviting major stalkers along with potential issues with their parents if they find out-many parents would cut off the financial help they do supply if they found out their daughter was a stripper making 1500 in a night.
also-belle knox has become a major celebrity and im sure ppl have been fighting over her and the most she could get is $2k for a mid tier club?? wtf. didnt octomom get 5 figures?
belle knox could make more as a regular dancer at a manhattan or vegas club if she introduced herself as a celebrity pornstar. didnt she come to the avns? why didnt she work??

I don't think they mentioned constantly making 1,500 to 2,000 a night. But WEEKLY. Especially with their biggest tips ranging from a couple hundred to 500 dollars. So 2k a week, working 3-4 days does sound doable. If you're working four days, each day you leave with 500 dollars then you've made 2k that week lol. As a dancer in school, the last thing I want is for my picture, full name and school all on the web. Might hurt my career in the future. But hey, better exposure for them right?
I too am confused as to why Belle is only taking 2k her damned self just to take her clothes off at Show Palace. Isn't she able to charge way more than that considering all the controversy surrounding her?
The lack of money is the root of all evil. -Mark Twain
^In the end, Belle Knox is just another porn star whose real life has far more recognition than her adult life, so I'm not overly surprised that she can't command as high a rate as someone like Octomom who is mostly outside the adult industry. It's more of a novelty to have Octomom perform in a club when she has one porn video (can't recall if it was released before or after her feature shows) vs. Belle Knox who you can google up pretty easily.

I believe it. I always expect $2000 a week in 3/4 days. So I have to make $500-$700 a shift to reach my goal.
Uh, yes, of course they can make that. Show Palace is an afterhours club and lots of drug dealers come in and make it rain hundreds if not, thousands. I know a girl who makes that in 3 hours and goes home (after she's already worked a Manhattan club till like 2).
I feel bad for these girls. People are going to definitely be mean to them in school.

I personally think it´s GREAT that these girls are brave enough to stand up for us all like this! I feel that articles like this will benefit me in my life because it shows that stripping is just a job and that we are just normal girls. More articles like this where strippers are portrayed as normal, intelligent women rather than sad abused drug addicts will help slowly decrease the social stigma we are facing. These girls have nothing to be ashamed of, I DON'T feel bad for them, we shouldnt feel bad for them, I think we should be very proud of them!
I feel bad for them in the sense that they are young and have only been dancing a couple to a few months and they were clearly preyed upon by their club management to do this article and they don't know what the future or immediate repercussions of these decisions are. They put their full name, what school they went to, and included a pic of them dancing onstage in little clothing...if anyone at their college reads this article, it's going to be spread all over their school and they're going to be bullied. It's not nice.

I think it is possible to make that amount but like the other ladies have I said I think you are more likely to make in 3 days vs one night. I know whenever I have made a great amount of money in one night it was usually a fluke thing or because I was hustling like my life depended on it.

I'm wondering why claiming to average 1500-2000 in 3 nights is hard to believe. That would be averaging 500 to 700 a night. At every good club the top girls average that and more. I do not believe that is a lie. I use to fly on the weekends thurs fri sat to another state and average more than that. Not everyone is misrepresenting their earnings.

I don't think that that's a lot of money either. But Queens isn't easy working conditions. And I'm tired of these dumb girls talking to the media, etc. And making it seem as though the money is so easy. NYC isn't an easy place to work. And the outer boroughs are even harder to make money. I think this place opened a few years ago. I tried Gallaghers and the one by the 59th st bridge. I can't remember the name. Gallaghers was already bad when I started there. And full of Russian agency girls. Ugh!!

I've never worked in New York so I have no idea about those clubs. I was just saying 500 to 700 a night for 3 days is pretty normal what the top girls are at least making at good clubs with money. I was just wondering why many posters in the thread found it hard to believe. There are lots of girls who work just thurs thru sat when its busy and bank cause they go to school during the week or other reasons. It's really no ones business what anyone made. If they make that good for them. I hope they're doing their taxes.
^It seems like a lot of people read it as making $1500-2000 per night, rather than over the course of 3 nights, so I think that's where the incredulity comes in.

No! Christina it isn't a lot. I think that my post didn't really have a clear point. I'm from the NYC area. And to me it's just harder to work then other areas. I think there's more competition with the girls. And the guys are more spoiled. Oh and high tip outs. I think since around 2007, to me, it feels a lot more mentally daring working in thiis part of the country. That's why I prefer to work out of town. But now the money isnt there out of town either. Plus, I'm older and this is a young girls game now. I guess I'm just frustrated and not making a clear point. Lol!

I meant mentally draining not daring.

Also, I don't think there's a shock in the amount. It's also that most of the Queens clubs are so full of extras that it's hard to make much money there and be a clean dancer these days.

I'm older. Maybe you need to find a less stressful enviroment. It's definitely not a young girls game. I average 4-6000 any where I work so those numbers are not out of norm. When I worked in NY and I was 42 when I got hired at ricks and saphire I took home 5-7000 working 5 shifts. So don't think you are too old that os hurting you.

Thanks for the positive words Michelle! I know I look decent but IM kinda on the modest side. But I do think IM in need of a tune up. I think this has become a new girls game because a lot of new girlls in this biz are nothing like we were when we started. And I mean that in a negative way. I'm sure you have an idea abou what I mean. They're not as bright, they settle for so much less and make it harder for us to do well. I'm sorry to sound so negative but it's true.

Oh! And getting dances and making money hasn't ever been my problem in the club. I'm just frustrated with these ridiculous news stories from these girls.

I'm just A typical outspoken, complaining New Yorker!!! Lol
