I thought that I had mentioned to you about mineral balancing? it's the ONLY thing that works.. everything mental is actually physical.. your entire body runs on minerals and when you become deficient in minerals your mind starts going.. I am actually witnessing that firsthand with myself... after intense mineral therapy for a year.. my mind is more focused and calm.. I do experience moments of insanity as toxic copper starts dumping.. but it's a world of difference.. I am 44 and haven't felt this sane since I was 27. ( all the therapy and counseling in the world will never make you whole again or better.. you will never be the same person you once were unless you address your mineral imbalance.. You will learn coping skills to deal with your new sick self.. but you will NEVER get better... you will be sick and twisted as always under therapy and counseling ONLY).. not saying this to be mean. just the truth.. I have family members in therapy for life who are worse than they were before.. who don't listen to me.. they just keep making everyone around them miserable including themselves.

Does it manifest in the feeling of excess energy that you need to run away? Then do some sort of exercise to try to get the excess energy out like running in place like a maniac.

Does it manifest with rumination type thinking? Then do something to help get you out of your head like singing to yourself about every action you are currently doing or distracting yourself by saying out loud a list of square root numbers.

Since everyone's panic symptoms is different then everyone's solution to living around them will also be different. The only generalized piece of advice I can give you is not to let yourself feel badly or guilty about the fact that you do have panic attacks since that is going to only make the situation worse. Yes, I know this is SO much easier said than done and I struggle with it all the time but you have to be gentle and supportive with yourself because being mean to yourself and beating yourself up about the fact that you have panic attacks in the first place doesn't make them any easier to deal with. <3

Thanks for that, JAC. Feeling a lot better today for a Monday. I eliminated caffeine completely over the weekend, which wasn't easy but necessary. At least my heart has stopped racing, and that fight-or-flight reaction is gone. A lot of my problems stem from "doom and gloom" thinking in a repetitive manner, so I took your advice and distracted myself. I started reading my favorite book series again, and that seemed to help. It's good to know that I'm not the only one with this problem.

Anonymous Camgirl: For my mineral issues, I had a panel done - the only thing that was off was my calcium, which I'm taking replacement for. Other than that, everything was within normal limits. You were right on about counseling, it hasn't helped at all and I don't think it ever will. Pretty much useless! I feel there are a lot of genetic factors involved with my anxiety issues, probably the uber-strict environment I was raised in didn't help either.

I have something wrong with my mental health. It's something... I can't put my finger on EXACTLY what, but it's something along the lines of depression, anxiety, bipolar, or an overthinking disorder.... When I get in these moods it makes me sooo unmotivated. I want to stick through with this camming and give my best effort, but at times I'm to depressed to even shower...

I just wanted to thank the person that started this thread and you guys for posting. It makes me feel better knowing others have some of the same issues or similar things they are going through. This is helping me know I am not the only one and I am not insane. I like how this thread is so supportive and as far as I have seen nobody is attacking anybody else on here. Most places on the internet if you admit to having problems it goes either of 3 ways you get lucky and somebody listens to you and is actually supportive, they ignore you completely, or they troll you and make fun of you for your problems. I personally find on the general internet aka not on here people will 50% troll you and your problems 40% ignore you 10% are actually nice, supportive, and try to help. I think this is why I very rarely communicate my thoughts and feelings anywhere else online. Thanks all.

This! I am SERIOUSLY, TRULY fucked up in the head and have always been the least-popular person on every website. Insults, trolls, ignores, insults, insults, insults, trolls, ignores, insults, insults, and insults. This becomes a problem when I want to better myself, but people never seem to want to help a person unless they are already pretty okay, kind of like how the rich get richer the poor get poorer, that's the best analogy I can come up with for that

So things have been sorta suckish since my last episode. I had a seizure and fell down the stairs and my husband moved my entire bedroom in my living room so I dont have privacy to cam and now when I do have shows im on my bedroom floor.

We meet with the doctor in a few weeks to talk about the temporal lobectomy. I'm stressed because I know this surgery will put me down for a while.
    I just needed to vent.
Shit sucks but hey imma get a pretty wig

    You're welcome.

I've definitely learned from hanging out with other sick people on the regular that the majority of us know exactly what it is like to be looked down on over our sickness and know how it feels to be 'left behind.'

If I had a quarter for every time someone who wasn't a medical doctor felt like they were qualified to both judge me and explain to me how I wasn't really sick and that I was either just lazy or that I wasn't trying hard enough than I'd be so buried under quarters that I'd never have to think about doing sex work again. (*laughs*)

Hiiii, sick girls. It's been about 6 weeks since the start of a serious health crash, and I'm so bored of it, you have no idea. I had the flu at the start of it, and since then my body has utterly failed to repair itself. I'll have a couple of OK days in a row, and then a whole week of barely getting out of bed.

I'm trying to get lots of rest, taking it one day at a time, yadda yadda. But I could really use an internet hug and a "you can do it, girl".

Has anyone taken themselves off of depression medication? I currently take 100mg of zoloft nightly but I hate how it makes me feel like a void. At least I am thinking it is the one of my medications that is making me feel that way. I am tapering off of it slowly and cannot run it by my doctor until I see him in July. I am just tired of feeling this way. I have no motivation for anything, and feel like I zone out not doing shit for hours upon hours. It's not good for business. I take other medications for bipolar and anxiety and panic disorders but I was taking those meds for a year before I started taking the zoloft and I felt just fine while taking those medications which leads me to believe it is the zoloft that is making me feel this way.

You might just need the dose re examined but if you cant see the doctor till July it makes it hard
Have you done any research about interaction with any of your medications? I had a med give me a bad side effect because of a headache medicine I used on occasion. It just reacted weird.

I know what a pita taking rest can be, but your body needs it right now. Try to not be pissed off about it and be sure to nourish it with a lot of good food and drinking a lot of water. You will get there, it is just a temporarily set back. You CAN do it!!!
OH and if I could I would send (next to my hug) all of those cutiepies over to your place for a big fat hug. Feel the love!!! XD

Wrap yourself up and do something that doesnt burn energy and makes you feel good *music, a good book, enjoying tea, a bath or shower, or anything else you enjoy!*
The hardest part is not getting annoyed nor mad, if you succeed in doing that than you are a superwoman and had a succefull day even though you were sick!

It's hard to explain. I think I might just have to try and go for a walk in soon but those are only if you are lucky enough to get there on time and the doctor picks you out of other people that are there to see him also, otherwise you might have to see another Dr. I am adjusting my dosage down right and I already notice a little bit of difference. I am feeling no side effects as of yet.

This isn't a real sickness or chronic but I think I must have torn my calf muscle like 2 months ago or so.. I can't do any serious cardio as a result- tried again yesterday now I'm in pain. I'm only 23 but my metabolism has gotten way slower than it used to be already and I find it hard to keep my weight/ pooch in check without exercise. frustrated. Gonna research what to do about this since American doctors are useless and take your money without doing anything for you.

I have social anxiety too, combined with BPD and general anxiety. It is very hard indeed. Maybe it helps for you to do a meditation or something like that, to get into your ' cam character' ? Maybe acting more/setting up a character helps you get yourself at ease.

My BPD is acting up lately again. My antidepressant meds aren't working as properly anymore, which is leading to me experiencing human feelings again. This led to positive stuff (my relationship with my bf is going great now, I have a higher sex drive, can experience joy and happiness again) but like in other parts of my life I still make the most stupid irresponsible decisions.I managed to rake up 500$ in credit card debt within one month which sucks. I read more about the disorder and the black and white thinking is also something that really stops me during camming. Neurotypical people (peeps with no diagnosis/psychiatric history) have a different way of thinking/communicating. Getting around things, sugar coating.... Us BPD people (at least me) think very black and white. So for me keeping friendships/making them is super hard, just like camming. I say what I want and what I think, no way around it. A LOT of people dont like that.

I've developed within the last year severe chronic fatigue syndrome and i am thinking it's from black mold exposure. I had moved into a home in California a year and a half ago and ever since i moved on i became severely lethargic and also my sons allergies got terrible. the mold was not visible so my landlords refused to do anything about it and my fatigue has gotten progressively worse. to the point where i can barely leave my home more than once a week and when i do i become extremely malaised and weak for days. I am forcing myself to webcam feeling this awful because i am a single mom and have no other income and it has been so hard. i moved out of this toxic apartment last week and moved to Vegas only to feel even worse now. I believe i either have chronic fatigue syndrome as i have all the symptoms and all of my bloodwork my dr orders comes back negative for everything. or possible Lyme or Epstein Barr. I am at a loss as to how to cope with this and detox the mold from my body and get healthy again. I literally feel like its killing me and i still have to cam thru all of it. Just wondering if anyone is dealing with severe chronic fatigue syndrome and how you are coping? This is the worst i have ever felt my entire life and this is not just a little tired. I feel cancer patient lethargic.

I have gotten sick from black mold exposure in the past. One of the worst things about it is the fact that its spores get into everything so even if you move away from the apartment they will continue you make you sick for the next while until they eventually are able to 'air out' for lack of a better description. Also with toxic black mold exposure, you always feel worse before you feel better. It is called the 'Jarisch-Herxheimer Reaction'.

I have been dealing with severe chronic fatigue for the majority of my life. How do I cope? I wish I had any hopefully news for you at all but unfortunately, the answer is 'not well'. I eventually got so sick that I had to quit camming entirely and it has taken me three years(!) to get to the point where I am now able to think about going back.

My heart breaks for you. I really wish I had any good answers.

Does anyone have any tips about balancing work and self-care? It seems that I really suck when it comes to that skill set. LOL!
