    Duh First shift & regulars

I just worked my first shift(day shift)dancing ever(no audition) yesterday. I was told by many custies as well as the girls and management that 99% of the customers during day shift are regulars and have been for quite some time, most being a decade or more, and the dancers have been there at least 5 years as well. The one stage show out of 4, where I was able to get the most stage tips of the day, came with many guys asking me to dance for them after my set. Problem being, I had less than 30 mins left of my shift and not enough time to get to everyone. Are those customers/regulars going to be pissed I didn't have a chance to come by and lose them forever? I genuinely wanted to get to everyone, but I was exhausted after an 8 hour + shift on my first day.

What the management and other dancers told you is most likely true, I have found day shift customers across different clubs to be mostly regulars. Those customers were probably excited to see a new face. I highly doubt they'd be upset, they'll probably be asking about you!

Hehe I hope so! I did okay my first day; way too nervous during table dances but awesome on stage for whatever reason(although I was terrified of the complete opposite) so I hope they remember my set and are excited to see me next shift! They're all super sweet regs, know to pay without me asking, don't ask personal questions, it's brilliant!

Sometimes I love day shifts for this reason at a new club. I've made some pretty comparable money to night shift during the day mostly from regs who want to try 'the new girl'.

Can you work a swing shift next time? So, let's say the shift starts at noon and ends at 8pm, maybe you could go in for 4pm or so and catch the tail-end of the day shift which is mostly an after work crowd since they seemed to be into you, and then slowly ease back in to day shift once you work up some of your own regulars for the early part of the swing shift?

That's a good idea. I'm still confused about some of the shifts, but I'll figure it out. A friend of mine has been helping me, so I try to stick with the morning shifts and stay off her turf. I'll probably try a swing/night shift on a day she isn't working
