Re: SSNQuestion
That's a dicey question. If the club doesn't have your name, address and SS# on file AT ALL, then your assertion is probably correct in terms of background searches as performed today. However, current law requires all US clubs to verify that their workers are legally allowed to work in the USA ... which typically also means a dancer application must be completed and kept on file with name, address and SS#.
Even if the club does not issue checks or 1099's that would create a direct paper trail between club and dancer, the possibility always exists that the club itself will wind up being audited / investigated. If and when that happens, it's certainly possible that LE / tax auditors will also pull out the club's file of dancer applications ... leading to all sorts of possibilities.
Similarly, today there are also other low probability, but not impossible, scenarios. A dancer could be ( bogusly ) busted, thus creating a criminal record paper trail of her work as a dancer. A club customer could also recognize the dancer as a 'real life' acquaintance, again leading to all sorts of possibilities.
Also, if you check the Industry Insight thread about Google Glass and facial recognition software, you will see that there is a growing possibility that dancers could be 'outed' in the future if a potential 'straight job' employer runs a facial recognition search between a pic taken during the job interview and other pics with matching faces which were 'stealthily' shot by club customers and previously posted to upload sites. Admittedly, at this particular moment, the odds of that happening are extremely close to zero. But those odds could quickly increase with time, as more and more 'smart glasses' hit the market, and as access to truly effective facial recognition software becomes more widespread.
Or, put another way, even with zero paper trail existing to link a strip club with a dancer, a 'stealth' pic of that dancer shot with a club customer cell phone or 'smart glasses' and uploaded today could potentially reappear during a 'straight job' background check with facial recognition search performed 4 years from now. This is a big 'unknown' future risk factor for dancers, and even more so for camgirls.
Thus the best answer to your question is 'probably not' as of today at least.
