    Default Picking Up the Pace

If my club had a resturaunt equivalent, it would be a diner. Busy, affordable, friendly, high turnover. I have been making $400+ every shift (5hrs) even though the dances are cheap at $10 for a booth, and only $20 for VIP (and VIP has a $5 cut to the house).

My problem is that I'm too slow. After every stage set I have men swarming for a dance- and on crowded weekend nights I could grab whoever I want from the floor or the bar. I feel like I could earn $600+ a night if I could just speed up my hustle. I end up turning down dances because I'm already walking someone to a booth, and I never get around to a lot of them later. I can't opt out of my stage sets- although I do end up sitting out a song as soon as the DJ has my name up for standby because I don't want to be late getting up there. I also end up taking a breather after the stage because I go really hard, and tend to go to the DR to touch up after each set of lap dances (and to get a clean slate mentally).

What are some tips you ladies have for keeping a constant presence on the floor- or doing hours worth of dances back to back? What do you do for stamina? (*I don't drink on the job ever btw). How do you pace yourself in busy clubs, or find that rhythm?

How long are your sitting with customers before going for dances? Your club sounds like a lap dance factory where you can essentially 'wanna dance' people, especially those who are swarming your stage -- give them a song, max, and then move on if they say no, maybe with the promise to come back later when they're ready to have some fun.

It sounds like you simply get tired as well, so try toning down your stage shows (unless stage money represents a large portion of your earnings) and even lap dances. Move slow as all hell on stage and make your lap dances more sensual and GFE -- I find that's great for selling strings of dances anyway, and it keeps you from getting too tired since you're just cuddling in their lap and giving your legs a break.

Carry around some water with you all night so you're constantly hydrated and don't have to pause for many breaks. Eat a good meal before your shift that will fill you for the 5 hours but not make you feel heavy.

Not sure if this could work in your club, but you could also try selling strings of dances upfront and frame it in a timing way. So, let's say all songs are 3 minutes: offer $20 a song or $100 for 15 minutes. Ends up the same to you, you just know you're getting at least 5 dances in the beginning. Collect upfront, of course. And always always lead with the $20 dance. Don't even mention the $10 dances unless they balk at $20 because those halve your earning potential -- even then, frame it as a teaser/appetizer for the real thing, especially if there are contact differences between the areas -- and if there aren't, make some up for yourself, like no touching your boobs or something for only $10 (obviously depends on the club contact rules).
