Question How To Hide Your Real Hair In A Wig

    Hey!

Before you tell me to check old threads about wigs, I already have read about them. My question is how to hide my brownish red short hair in my platinum blond curly wig from wigs by cc. I've got my wig cap, I've got a ton of clips but I still feel like the sides of my hair by my ear really peek out from beyond my blond wig. Any suggestions how to hide this unsavory ear side hair better? Any tips and tricks you can think of?

I would also like some extra tips and tricks how to keep a wig contained on the head when moving about a stage for stripping. Is there any sort of like glue that I could put on the wig cap or something like that?

    Thanks in advance!

I wear a wig cap and don't do jack shit on stage but jiggle my huge fake tits and flash my pussy.

Haha! I was hoping you would respond! Well maybe I should be carefree like you! I doubt they'd notice with an ass and pussy out in the free air, eh? I think I'm probably getting a little too technical with my wig. Hah!

LOL if it helps get one with combs in it. I always tell customers my rules before a dance:
    1) Don't touch my hair
    2)Don't touch my pussy
    3)Don't void my warranty
    4) Don't touch my (most recent tattoo)

I'm always open and honest about wearing wigs. "My hair is fake, my tits are fake, but my attitude is real. I still look good either way!"

Great! Thank you... I will certainly make sure to list off the majority of those rules as that's just what I need is some guy running their fingers through my "hair" only to have my hair pop off and show my wig cap haha! Thanks Tempest!

I have the same issue with my wigs. Luckily the colors I wear are close to my hair color or darker. But I'm still testing different ways to wear them. They sell wig glue at the beauty supply stores. You may want to try that... I also saw that they sold little clips you could sew in, so that they wig doesn't slip back.

ok my issue is not hiding my hair so much, since the color blends great( I wear a matching wig to my reg hair color as a FALL< which is a whole amazing thing and i wont get into atm) but, for certain moves on a customer in VIP which they LOVE,, aka going from a straddle, into laying back on to a chair or foot rest behind you so they get a great leg/pussy/ different angle, my weave or wig always gets fucked!! sometimes my clip ins come unhooked on the end, which is so embarassing... or the zigzag comb fall. not cool.
i dont have a solution yet other then glue in weave. as far as hiding your real hair, HAIRSPRAY is your friend as ar bobbi pins. dont make as much money with my regular skimpy hair. LOL

I saw combs into my wig and then use bobby pins to secure once I've put it on. I've has customers pull on my hair and it doesn't budge!

    Good luck!

I was curious about this too. I either have to get an expensive weave or buy a wig. But Im scurred it will fly off while Im dancing. But since Im a n00b, I would be doing too many advanced pole tricks.

That would be my worst fear, giving a guy a sexy look, swinging my hair and my wig flying off.

    EEK!

Does your wig have sideburn regions like this? http://www.zarawigs.com/product-imag...irlines_06.jpg

Either way, gel your hair sides underneath the wig cap and tape the wig cap down with wig tape... I tape in the center of my forehead, on the sides hear my ears (small pieces of tape), and at the nape of my neck. Not only does that help the wig stay secure, you can push a few pieces of hair onto any exposed tape to give yourself a more natural look, as if the hair is growing from your head.

I have attached lace wigs and costume wigs in this way because I cannot live without a full range of motion and dramatic flair. There is considerably more tape used in this example image, but it will help you get the idea.

    hqdefault.jpg

I attach the wig clips in the tape gaps.... right onto the wig cap. Granted, I have my clips sewn on and positioned further back, about a half inch behind the hairline to achieve this.

So to summarize, pull up as much of your hair as you can into the cap... use gel if you have unruly strays. Wait for the gel to dry.
Try on your wig and put it into a ponytail.
    Remove the wig for now.
Secure the cap with wig tape (half on the cap, half on your scalp), I strategically place the tape on the center and sides as well as the nape.
The UN-TAPED regions of the wig cap is where wig clips go since you probably don't want the clips tugging at your actual hair.
I press on the wig where the double sided wig tape is present, starting in the middle (forehead) region.
I pull the sides tight and affix the side areas of the wig to the side-tape.
Smooth out side number one. Go on to side number two.
Now in the back, you have tape as well.
Note, the nape of the wig may be wrinkly... thats okay, it actually gives you a bit more volume in the back. The nape is covered with hair so no one will notice.
Attach the back of the wig to the tape holding down the wig cap on your nape.
Clip the wig on in the back.
Check your sides... use a toothpick or popsicle stick to affix the wig hair on to the tape at the sides. Press firmly.
Consider wearing a scarf, tightly pulled around the perimeter of your wig, as you do your makeup. This will strengthen the bond between the wig and the tape.
Once you're all dolled up: Remove the pony-tail. Style your wig and enjoy looking gorgeous.

    Also:
Consider using a scalp protecting product before applying tape.
Don't apply the tape to oily/moisturized skin. It won't stick.
Use a glue/tape remover when you want to take the wig off.
