I worked with a girl who was 26 and had braces. She looked cute with them! I definitely don't think it affected her money whatsoever.
Braces are important, even if you already have nice teeth. I got mine when I was like 12 or 13, but I still remember my orthodontist saying how important it is to align your teeth because your face changes throughout life.
I think it'd be worth it. 2 or 3 years of having braces is worth the end result of a beautiful, flawless smile![]()

I got mine as an adult, I recently photographed someone that had them, they didn't show because they were only on the inside of her teeth. The only clue was a slight speech difference when she had her wax inserted to protect against protruding wires. I'd say don't worry about it, it may even be a conversation topic, play it up that that's where your $ are going... ;-)

My sister had invisalign and it worked really well. Her teeth were pretty jacked up to begin with too. So, if you don't want metal braces, that's probably a good option.

I had braces in my early 30/s - I escorted and it really did not make any difference in my money -
I had/have Invisalign too- I'm just finishing up my final set of revision aligners. Seriously, they were such an awesome investment. Depending on what your teeth are like to begin with ( I had pseudo-vampire teeth, lol!), you will begin to see results in about 3-4 months. And from that point, it just keeps getting better and better. Just make sure you keep them in for at least 20 hours a day- it's pretty easy to slack off and leave them out.
I no longer try to hide my teeth when I smile. The huge boost in self-confidence was worth every penny I spent.
Seriously. Just go for it. You will NOT regret it.![]()

I had a college professor who had them...and she was 54.

My braces are just something else that's cool about me. I've had maybe two people say something rude but I rarely meet people with perfect teeth or face so it's easy to backfire and embarrass them, I"'m proud I'm not walking around with huge fake tits and a ducked up grill, like your girlfriend sitting next to you."

I had clear braces from 30-33 and not many people could tell. Glad I got them.
