that's awesome! yeah coconut oil and biotin are my favorite secret weapons for hair growth ( and smoothness!). the only downside to the biotin is that my nails also grow at record speeds so having fake nails gets to be a pain.
do you think the coconut oil would work with damaged hair extensions? its real human hair, so i would imagine right?

That's a good question... but I'm not really sure. I've wondered that before and just assumed it wouldn't work but I didn't look it up or really think about it. But I do put my hair product in my extensions like heat protectant and smoothing creams so maybe the oil would work too?
And yeah I've used coconut oil in my hair before but the way the girl in the video does it works WAY better than how I was doing it. Massaging it slowly into damp hair makes a huge difference! Before I would just like clump the dry oil in my hands and rub it in my dry hair while clumps of oil were falling all over the place LOL so wasteful

Well, I use African Pride brand Olive Miracle growth oil, it has coconut, avacado, olive, jojoba oils, also herbs, & I love their Braid Sheen spray which has peppermint, tea tree, & many herbs, it feels so refreshing on scalp. The braid sheen spray can be used on natural hair & extensions. I get both from Sally's.
Your hair's GORJ!

I would try a peppermint oil with almond sounds delicious. I also like a castor oil + coconut oil over the night. I want to hold longer but i couldnt always have to go out and etc, maybe i should get a hat or turban))

anything thats helped my real hair doesnt help my extensions. my extensions stay beautiful and soft for the longest amount of time by coating them with straight silicone laminators, which are terrible for real hair. i like oils for my real hair and but that alone isnt a miracle product, regular moisturizing with a variety of cone free conditioners is essential.

It definitely depends on the person. The oil mixture probably won't help everyone but it definitely has been a miracle product for me! The vitamins probably help too. But I think hair product will help human hair extensions because they're actual human hair, unless you have non human hair extensions.

Most pure, non-processed plant oils (almond, argan, macadamia, olive, jojoba, coconut, etc) are excellent for hair nourishing, the problem with them is that they may cause dyed hair color to fade faster. I recommend the mask Ultimate Remedy by Shu Uemura Art of Hair, it's the best I have used so far. Many people believe applying quinine water to the roots will make the hair grow faster too.

i've ALWAYS heard that castor oil and emu oil helps grow long lashes and eyebrows, so it has to help real hair too right? i love coconut oil because it actually seals the cuticle in a healthy natural way, and its anti fungal, but i think im gonna try castor as well. its done wonders for my eyelashes.
emu oil might be a little harder to come by

The only Australian oil I have experience with is macadamia and it's pretty good and light, they say it's very close to the sebum. Castor oil is quite thick, but it's a good choice also. Another thick and very rich oil is the wheat germ oil. Many people also add egg yolk to the hair mask because it's rich in protein. The most common home-made mask is some oil, egg yolk and a bit of alcohol.

Oh yeah I've heard of egg yolk for hair but I've never tried it before.. maybe I'll add that to the oil mixture and see if it helps too.

Hairfinity includes MSM (a special type of sulphur), I have taken pills with MSM of another brand. They make the hair healthier indeed, but as a side effect it may cause breakouts on your face. Do not apply vaseline on your eyelashes, vaseline is petroleum jelly, can't be good. The best way to apply oil to the lashes would be with a clean mascara brush.

Yeah I watched a youtube review for hair infinity and a girl who used it for months said it made her hair nice but also made her break out really bad

The thing is, you need a healthy scalp, & also right now I'm having health issues that are affecting falling out hair. Trying scalp massage, herbal products, & coconut/oil/jojoba = all in one oil prod.

I swear by coconut oil & the hair, skin & nails vitamins from Walmart. Been using those on & off for years. They are my all time favorite.
I just asked my friend who lives in the US to ship some of those pills over to me! I've read all the threads about them and I really want to try them.
I currently take 1 pre-natal vitamin plus 2 x 5000mcg biotin every day, but I'm going to switch the pregnacare vitamin to 1or 2 Walmart pills a day when they arrive.
I also love how my hair feels after I've put coconut oil on it, but I'm too lazy to do it as often as I should, and I hate sleeping with a towel on my pillow. I should do it more though, it's so good for your hair.

I just ordered biotin and coconut oil... I hope it helps! I'm so frustrated, for the last 3 months I haven't used any bleach on my hair and I basically don't use any heat on it either, I straighten my bangs every 3 days and that's it... and it hasn't done shit. I'm like fuck at this point I should just go back to being blonde!
I've also just started using the Redken Anti Snap spray because a couple of girls on here recommended it. I don't know if it's doing much for me yet as you have to use it a while I think, but it's got great reviews on Amazon.

Audrey, you should really try the hair treatment I described!! I swear it's making my hair grow faster than normal I've been getting so many compliments on my hair since I've been doing it (plus vitamins). good luck!
& same here pinkiepie sometimes i'm so lazy to take the time to slowly massage the oil in my hair but after i wash it out the next day i'm glad i did it. I've just been forgetting to take my vitamins lately I need to work on that.

oh and i've been wondering if sleeping with my hair on a pillow instead of a shower cap or plastic bag wrapped around my hair is not a good idea? Like does the towel absorb the oil and take it away from the hair? Not sure about that but I'm way too lazy so I might just stick to sleeping on a towel lol it's easier.

Can you get the Shea Moisture prods. over there? (see my thread in this section) Do they have Sally's? If so, the African Pride brand braid spray is outstanding for the scalp..many herbs & great things for your scalp/hair, all natural & not oily @ all..do a daily scalp massage, & flip your head down to get the blood flow to there.![]()
