    Question Shea Moisture prods.

    http://SheaMoisture.com

Anyone tried these? they have body, hair, & child products..I bought their coconut co-wash, anti-breakage mask, & shine gloss haven't tried yet..I like that they really use what they say, & no mineral oil, slicones & can be used on color treated hair. Sold @ Walgreens, Target, Ulta, & CVS, Sally's.

The hair products have a huge following. I use a hair mask for deep conditioning in between my sew-ins.

The majority of products are the body stuff. I love the wash, and corresponding body oils. For almost a month I've been trying to buy the new line they sell only at Ulta and it's been out of stock for weeks. I smelled the lotion because that was the only product left on the shelf and I loved it immediately.

The dry scalp product (black liquid) works very well. I'll probably buy that one forever.

I didn't like the shampoo. It doesn't lather at all and it didn't do anything for my hair. I bought it for my extensions thinking it would be good because it literally has like 4 ingredients and they're all good but no go.

Yea..it's very rich w/oil/moisturizing stuff. My hair's a brillo pad though so I need it, it may actually be a bit heavy for my hair, I do need a lot of heavy type conditioning.
I don't know if you've tried the African Pride braid sheen spray (@ Sally's), it is not heavy/oily at all it can be used on extensions & natural hair.

Edit: I just now used the coconut/hibiscus co wash conditioning cleanser, the anti breakage mask, & smooth/repair high shine glosser..LOVE IT!
My hair was horrible, couldn't get a comb thru, stringy looking..it's now back to the way it was (almos).
& I know i need to cut some (I do though just not enough) but it's awesome!!!

After I stopped relaxing my hair, my aunt told me these products were the best for natural hair so I bought the coconut and hibiscus shampoo and conditioner along with some curl smoothie. I liked the shampoo because it seemed nice and mild and the conditioner helped make my curls more manageable but the curl smoothie stuff made my hair feel gross. The texture was too heavy and left my hair looking clammy.

I looovveee shea moisture good stuff. They're very moisturizing products(hair) and were originally made for the girlies who's hair needs super moisture like yesterday so depending on your hair type the hair products could be hit or miss. The Black soap is the truth it's cleared all my acne scars on my face. Don't know about the rest of the line Bath&Body but going to try them soon

I have the raw shea butter shampoo. I had no shampoo and this was sitting on my counter. I grabbed it. This stuff is the absolute worst shampoo I've ever used. I couldn't comb my hair after. I used it twice on a work trip and it was drying but OMG. My hair is frizzy and aweful. Like I said , I originally bought them for my extensions and they were horrible on them too. Maybe I bought the wrong one?

Yea. I bough the Shea Butter spray oil & hated it. I bought the coconut/hibiscus co-wash shampoo (sulfite free non lathering shampoo w/conditioner in it) Now I have really dry hair, but I thought it cleaned my scalp pretty good considering it's conditioning shampoo, & I do tend to have oilyness in my scalp when it's warmer out. I lathered/rinsed/washed it twice & thought it worked pretty good
I also like the anti breakage mask, the Tahitian Noni & Monoi treatment, along w/the spray high shine glosser w/Tahaitian, Noni & Monoi. It's a very rich oil for very dry ends, but it washes easily off my hands, which can't be said for other oils I've used.
They are safe for color treated hair, but not sure about extensions. They have their own website sheamoisture.com, maybe you can ask on there?
Or look at/read the labels on some of the ethnic shampoos. I love the African Pride Braid Sheen spray, it can be used on extensions, but it's not a shampoo, it's a refreshing scalp/hair leave in product.

I didn't know which you were referring to, then I went on Ulta site..they have all the Superfruit prods http://www.ulta.com/ulta/a/SheaMoist...=searchResults

I really want the hair masque..looking on their reviews, someone complained that she went to 4 stores looking for it, & it nvr seems to be available in store, just online.
I also looked on their own site,(sheamoisture.com) & they have 6 prods in the super fruit but not the hair masque.

    For shave bumps, @ walgreens.com: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/a/SheaMoist...=searchResults

The Shea moisture products are too heavy for me because I have thin whitegirl hair I found that a good alternative is alaffia. Their everyday Shea or coconut shampoo is perfect, as well as their lotions/soaps! Plus it's all fair trade, organic, and some proceeds go toward communities in places like Togo. All very awesome if you want a less "heavy" alternative
There is no reason to take it up the ass and then act all butthurt.

I have natural hair nd i use the moisture retentiom shampoo nd cond. It doesmt lather like reg shapoo becuz it doesnt contain sulfates (which strip ur hair of oil) ITS MADE FOR NATURALS really, or sulfate sensitive hair. If u want u can wash once with a reg shamp like motions then wash with this. I LOVE it!! Staple!!!
My hair is never dry, and the conditioner is bomb.

I feel you on the thin white girl hair..I have to admit, some of these prods. don't work for me, some do. For me, so far, what is the best: Tahitian Noni/Monai line, smooth repair hair/scalp wkly threapy, also their Smooth/Repair High Shine Glosser, best.serum.ever, not greasy either.

Today I got the Superfruits Complex 10-in-1 Renewal Serum & Masque..supposed to be color/heat protecting, hydrating, age defying, etc. Been trying to get it, & Ulta's the only place that carries the masque, so I was excited to get it. We'll see!
