Default Starting camming as a 'sick girl'

Hi babes, I've posted a fair bit in the stripper threads. I had to stop stripping as I have chronic fatigue syndrome. I was thinking of going back to stripping but a lot of girls said I would be more suited to camming considering my illness. My question is, is it very difficult to start camming. I've been reading and posters have suggested setting up twitter/facebook etc... I have some sexy clothes, a couple of toys, a stripper pole in my bedroom, a clean bedroom can I just start camming without all the added fuss which takes time and energy?

My second question is how noisy is camming? Can I wear headphones? I live in my parents house (cos I'm ill atm) my dad works nights and my mum goes to bed early which is good, so is it possible I could do it without them hearing too much?

You don't need to promote when you're just starting out. If you have a cam and a decent Internet connection you're ready to start camming.

Camming isn't exactly noisy--you could easily work with your computer on mute, you don't generally need to hear anything--but IMO talking is a lot easier than typing all the time. If you can get away with talking softly (maybe with one of those bluetooth mics that go in your ear I'd do that) then do that, if not then typing's fine. If your house isn't noisy then I would keep your mic on so they can hear you breathe/move around--even being able to hear background noise is a lot sexier than hearing nothing. Just tell them that you have to be quiet because you live with your parents, or you can say you live with roommates if you want to avoid the inevitable incest requests. Guys LOVE the idea of having to be quiet so you don't get caught.

Short version: Yeah, just clean up the area you'll be camming in and you're about good.

Long: Yes, a headset would work. Some guys find them hot, but I prefer bluetooth, because cybergoth. It really depends on how loud you are when you 'cum' (whether you fake it or not), and how loud you get when you talk. If I talk too quietly my voice sounds reaaaally weird and cracks a lot. I tend to speak at a normal volume (i'm normally quiet as is though) with my mic settings tweaked a little bit so that they can hear even small whimpers. On days you don't feel like dealing with people but want to work, you could always make videos, and there's TOOOOONS of inspiration on the internet. I recommend a twitter though, since it can be easy and fairly mindless and some sites will tweet for you automatically. Others will tweet your url through themselves and it can be retweeted. You don't have to use it for anything else, but it's good for that, so people who find you can keep tabs on your work.
