Default Another body critiquing post...Sorry guys!

So I have been thinking about dancing for a little over a year now but am a little on the fence because of my body shape. I am a little on the thicker side but with smaller breasts. I am about 145lbs and 5'4". That being said I am solid. I hardly have cellulite and get complimented on my legs all the time. I am a little conscious of my midsection and back. I have been pole dancing for fun for a few years and can easily do inverts and climbs and all sorts of spins. I hate to be annoying and post pictures and ask this but I really would appreciate honest feed back!! The bikini i'm wearing too is super push up and padded. Don't sugarcoat please!

Well you don't have any jiggle or rolls and your stomach isn't sticking out further than your tits which is a plus. You seem good to go to me. "Thick" is fine provided you're toned.

OP, you look great-honestly, pretty different than what I expected at 145 and that's meant as a compliment. You must be mostly muscle .The fact that you're tan gives you even more of an advantage and you should have no problem getting hired. You so don't need it IMO, but if you dislike your midsection, body wraps are good for depuffing that area specifically. You can get all the supplies online, it ends up being cheaper. Best of luck

You do not look 145! I think you look good, and I really don't think you will run into problems getting hired at most clubs.

Thanks for the input guys! I just wanted to know where I stood. Im
145 but like I said I'm solid. Muscle weighs more than fat. I think I'm going to take a couple weeks and clean up my diet and just see what happens. I'm going to keep checking out this website in the meantime! This website is great . I'll check out the bodywraps but I am struggling with money right now so that might not be an option as of yet.

They have some fairly inexpensive body wraps on Amazon for like $30. I know a girl who makes her own, maybe you could google how to do that?
    Just a thought....

Thank you! I think it's the mirror honestly. I am a little heavier. Now the question is what in the world am I going to wear? I don't really have the money to go out and buy stuff but I think I might have to. Also I got stuff to do a body wrap last night. I think I'm going to try it this evening.

I think you look great as well and I don't see a problem with you getting hired at most clubs. As for what to wear, with your body type I think outfits similar to this would look good on you -

MiraMichele thank you! I love the 2nd one. Is that audition appropriate? I have no idea. I was under the impression it should be more of a bra or bikini top. I don't know what I'm talking about!

You'd be fine in most clubs, but I'd work on your midsection and thighs. Never hurts to fine tune.

Yes Vackra, I'm trying to work on my midsection. My legs are pretty good I think. Pretty muscular and toned. Just my middle!

The second one is my favorite also and it is very audition appropriate I think I chose the 1 piece outfits to post here because you do seem to be the most self conscious about your mid section and that is exactly how I am also. 2 piece outfits aren't the best when you are self conscious about that area because you will always be worried about it and not as confident which hurts your money making.

ETA to not cause confusion, not all 2 piece outfits are bad but I wouldn't recommend bikini style outfits. Something like a corset or bustier that covers your stomach area matched with a pair of thongs/booty shorts/skirt/etc will work fine also.

You look great! I've worked in a lot of clubs and you'd def wouldn't be the low earner in any of them.

You look great. And if you're nervous about your midsection, personally I wear two-pieces even when I feel bloated just because there's something about tight fabric against my stomach that I feel makes it look worse. You can buy a lot of cheap cute outfits on yandy if you're tight on money as well.

Thank you for all the help guys! I have one more question regarding one piece outfits/corsets. How do those work out when you are on the pole. A corset would hurt your ability to do inverts and grip the pole with some tricks and wouldn't a dress fall up in an invert or do you take it off to dance?

^I've never worn a corset, but when I've worked out at a pole dancing studio I've had no issues doing inverts with a shirt and bootie shorts on, I mean you're mostly gripping with your hips, thighs, feet, etc, your stomach isn't doing much. In regards to the dress/gown, yes it's a fucking pain in the ass to do pole tricks in a gown. I don't think you'll have that much of an issue with the dress tho, since it's going to slide up to your waist after the first one and probably stay there until you take it off. If you really have that much of an issue with it, just save your pole tricks for when you don't have a dress on. If you're working in a nude club you'll probably do 2/3 of your show without the dress and if you're working in a topless club you'll do 1/2.
