Default Advice for serving at a club

    Hey Guys!
So I really want to start dancing but I am still a little nervous about it. I am currently a server at a sports bar and just don't make enough. I saw on craigslist that Kahoots is hiring servers and I thought that maybe that might be a good way to get my foot in the door and see what the industry is like.
I would consider myself cute but not dancer cute...at least yes anyways but I'm working on it. Is it easier to get a serving job at a club vs a dancing job? The ad said to go in to apply. I'm trying to figure out what I should wear to do so. Thank you!

If you want to dance, forget waitressing and just dance. The money is generally better and it's often easier to get hired as a dancer than a waitress anyway. As long as you have a nice body, you're probably fine!

I would suggest waitressing so you can get the feel of a club. I started dancing immediately and didn't even start making good money until 3 months in because I was so nervous and shy.

I'm a bartender at a dance club, and was told I have to leave all together for three months before i could start dancing. So starting out as a server isn't always a good option. Plus you get to know all the management on a different level and it can be daunting for you to go from them seeing you dressed every day, to naked and dancing around.
