    Smiley The Ultimate Drugstore Foundation

I have been given such awesome advice here over the years. I finally found a beauty product that is worth sharing.

For years I have been a huge fan of Revlon ColorStay make up. Mostly because it lasted all day. Turning 38 I looked in the mirror and realized my foundation just wasnt working for me anymore. It was sinking into my fine lines, darker dark circles under my eyes, and I moved to a more humid state. Sweating was making my foundation cakey.

I took at as my new mission for my makeup look good again. I bought tons of stuff foundations, concealers, primers etc.

Then I found the perfect foundation that has solved all my problems. Maybelline SuperStay 24hr foundation and concealer

It is non transfer. Meaning it never rubs off once it sets. I did a test to see how long it would last. I wore it to bed. It didnt even rub off on the pillow.
If I am outside sweating, it doesnt effect the foundation at all. I dont even get that horrid sunglasses grove on my nose anymore. It is full coverage, a little goes along way.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this foundation so much.

The concealer works in the same way. It has orange undertones as a corrector though. I wear it under the foundation and blend. Everything comes off with makeup remover amazingly enough.

Drawbacks: It has a very limited color range. It is also very difficult to remove from applicators. So I have one beauty blender sponge with special cleaner I use with it.
It is super affordable too. Would be great for body cover as well.

It is crazy how tickled with happiness this makes me lol. Hope this helps one of you too!

There are a few decent drugstore foundations but yes shades can be a problem, I like Neutrogena Healthy skin and Covergirl outlast 3 in 1, both not available in the UK so I got 3 of each when in the US.

I've been using Rimmel BB cream, so far I like it. If I want more coverage, I just put more on. I was using L'oreal anti aging foundation in a jar, I think it's discontinued. It seemed kinda cakey maybe I had it too long

I wish I could wear drugstore makeup but I have really sensitive skin and I'm afraid anything but Aveda will make me break out

I like using Neutrogena mineral sheer (powder foundation) in "buff". It's the best for someone like me, who has a light golden undertone. Most foundations I had used are either too light or too dark: the first two hues of most foundations are too light, and the other ones are just too dark.

I also love Neutrogena mineral sheers. I use natural ivory. It has good coverage for blemishes, keeps my shine down, and lasts a long time.

Rimmel's lasting finish 25-hour foundation is pretty good. I like to have a tube of a light shade and one of a medium shade & blend for different parts of my face.

Wet N Wild Coverall is pretty much on par with the high coverage Laura Mercier foundation that comes in a jar. It's only $4. The only drawbacks are the limited shades and that it's not great for extremely oily skin.
