    Default Ciao Italia

    Hi ladies!

So, I've searched and searched in the Club Chat section but have found very minimal results - I'm moving to Italy soon and I was wondering if any of you have danced/are currently dancing in Italy! I'll be living in Tuscany and I have other means of income so it's not necessary for me to strip, but I really would be sad to hang up my heels so soon. From what I've seen there aren't really any clean clubs in my area, but I'd be willing to travel to work in a nice place - Italy has a pretty good train system anyways. Thanks in advance!

It nowhere near tuscany but I have worked a couple of times in clubs in sicily which are next to a US navy base. Nearly all the customers are american which is good since Italians don't make good customers. Do you have a EU passport?

I have danced in Italy, but years back now, I don't recommend it for the same reason Britchick said, Italians are horrible customers, they are just looking for sex.

Thanks very much girls! This was kind of the general impression I had already, so looks like I'll probably be taking a little mini-retirement for now. I only have a Canadian passport and an Italian work visa so I can't go out of the county to dance - I'm moving to France after my time in Italy is done though, so I guess I'll just wait until I get to Paris to dance (and accept that I probably won't make very much money from the clubs there).

^Unfortunatly Paris is just as bad as Italy from what I've heard! Sexsells was just in Paris and she said it was absolute bollocks! I've heard Italy is terrible as well, Italians and the French are absolutely horrible customers, they're cheap and expect extras and if they don't get it they can turn quite unpleasant! I had a French guy curse at me for about 5 minutes a couple weeks ago because I gave him an air dance.

Ohhh, that's too bad - thanks for the heads up though! I've had French guys (and quite a few French Canadian guys) do the same - they get all sorts of unpleasant when I won't let them stick their everything in my everywhere. Damn, looks like my retirement from dancing is going to be a lot earlier than expected!

If you can work in the UK, you can always take Eurostar up to London and work here for a bit, or try one of the southern beach towns in England, they're supposed to be quite good during the summer (better than London anyway). You could also fly, not sure which is cheaper from France. The UK is supposed to be the best place to dance in Europe from what I've heard. Also, I've heard good things about Spain during the summer. The general consensus I've heard is, stay to the northern Europeans countries.

I've only met one girl who danced in Italy and she was dancing in Rome-- she was a customer actually who came in on her b-day and she had a crush on me and her friend bought a ton of dances for her from me (she was hot! and one of the best female custys I've ever had) and we talked quite a bit. She said she made good money down there but that it was pretty dirty, nothing like the dances girls were giving at my club. Everything else I've heard second-hand. But if you just miss dancing and don't mind if it's bust, might as well give it a shot I guess?

What! I want hot female customers from Rome! Anyways, I don't know how I really feel about these Italian clubs - I guess I'll take the summer off and see how I feel in the fall. I'll be sure to post an update if I end up doing it!

Sadly I can't work in the UK at the moment (unless I get a visa) but I would like to someday. Urgh, my parents could have gotten me an Irish passport if they had registered me at birth.....really wishing they had followed through with that right now! I've heard really good things about Spain as well but the visa process for Canadians there is quite messy.

Sadly I'm fourth generation Irish - as far as I know, for the fourth generation you can only get a passport if your parents register you in the Foreign Births Register before you're actually born. Grrrr. Oh well. Luckily Canada has a lot of working holiday agreements, so I'd like to use up as many of those as I can! My grandmother was born in British territory so I've been trying to work out if I could get a UK Ancestry Visa and maybe someday get a passport - very complicated though.

Good luck in Sicily! I'll have to remember to message you to ask how it's going. Maybe I'll head down there myself in the fall.

I think I know the club you're talking about in Florence, I've heard that it's basically a brothel and as you said probably not that profitable. There's also one outside of the town, I think it's called Sexy Disco Excelsior? But it's kind of in the middle of nowhere and it seems very focused on selling dinners with the girls, so I have to assume my lack of Italian would be a problem.

Another question for possible future reference - how do you go about getting hired at these places? I googled both the names of the Sicilian clubs, but I could only find the Facebook pages. Do you use an agency, or just contact them over FB?

Where exactly was your grand mother born? https://www.gov.uk/browse/citizenship/citizenship is good for citizenship questions, calling the British consulate? Don't do it. They ask for a credit card before you even get put on hold. I went to the British Embassy in LA when I was dealing with them and they were actually quite wonderful and explained everything to me and helped me fill out my application for a passport and whatnot, so if you can't figure it out online I would go there.

From what I've heard these clubs tend to fill up quickly because they often offer a base-salary, so there's no reason for them to just pack girls on for house fee the way American/Canadian/UK clubs do. I contacted some Swedish clubs as I was thinking of working there, and they want you to book in advance and they usually want photos of you as well. Some of the clubs I contacted has websites where I could send an e-mail, other clubs didn't have websites but had Facebook boards where I could contact them, one club had neither. I prefer dealing with e-mail than Facebook as I don't want to friend-them (and have a family member or friend see it) or have them looking at drunk pictures of me where I look like crap, but some of these clubs don't seem to use e-mail so I had to go about it that way.

You could probably work with an agency if you wanted to, but I would think you could just deal with it on your own.

So do you need a work visa to work at these places in Italy? There's some places in Rome where I'm actually staying right now on vacation. I plan on coming back to study the language for a month but I would love to try and move here. I'm so in love with italy lol

    Hi girls!
I´m European, I´ve been dancing around Europe and some parts of USA... I just want to say, many clubs accept girls without any paperwork. There are many girls from South America working all around Europe. I´ve been working in Italy, but without Italian language it´s really difficult and clubs are not clean at all... Better to avoid any clubs.. Maybe it´s worth to try some close to US bases... Spain I´ve never worked, I´ve heard it´s good while golf season in British part. France horrible, the same Luxembourg - more like champagne clubs, talking, low commission on champagne, almost no dancing...Belgium is too much drugs - therefore working till 8 or 10am - horrible for me! Never again... As I don´t drink alcohol, I find difficult to work in most of clubs in Europe. Good customers, good money - Denmark, Copenhagen. I´ve heard Norway is good as well, I´m heading there soon. Finland - May this year was disaster!!!!!! Germany - depends on club, but generally good money, English speaking people but it´s more for alcohol drinkers...
In general, if you´re used to work in USA, you´re used to make a lot more than you can ever make in Europe...of course always depends on a place and timing, but my experience, what I make in a month in FL, I can make in Europe in 3 months... For me dancing in Europe is worth because of traveling and seeing things and places and while dancing most of time I get free accommodation from club and make spending money
    Good luck!!!

Audrey K - My grandmother was born in Newfoundland (a province in Canada) but she was born there while it was still UK territory and actually immigrated to Canada. Since they list a bunch of other places that used to be part of the UK that are valid for an ancestry visa, I'm trying to find out if that would qualify me for one. Thanks for the heads up about calling the British Consulate - I had honestly given up on this because they are SO UNHELPFUL when you call them! I'll be in Canada for a couple of weeks in August, so I'll pop into the embassy there and ask.

Melonie - Thank you! I'm obsessed with the SWAP website! They seem soooo helpful. I will definitely be using them one day.

Anyways, I'm in Italy now! If I end up checking any strip clubs (VERY doubtful, haha) I'll let you girls know!!
