Default plus size stripper starting where in cali?

Hi so I am a plus size white gal size 14ish some times 16, 5'7, nice dd, small but nice butt, and a younger sweet look to me for my age. I have
Realized lately a lot of guys like thicker girls I never got hit on so much in my life I find it odd.
Money is not the best right now and I have always been a sexual person behind close doors with a few, but think I could fake the funk and be a good stripper. I don’t even know if I could find a strip club that would want a bigger girl. I a have a few things I like to know. I live in san Diego and would like to know if I could find a club I could make ok money at here and LA would be ok, but would not be a regular stripper in LA I like san Diego the best. So clubs that have bigger girls in San Diego? How to I go about getting Hired? What should I wear to get the job? Where's best places to find outfits for bigger girls? And how much money would I honestly be looking to make?

Thank you for any advice that points me the right way.

Gypsy put it very well, & I would also like to add that being in very good shape will go a long way toward your success, at any size but esp at yours. This job does not require a perfect 'spinner' body by any means but you do need to be fit. Start increasing your cardio, do a bit of free wgts & drink water like there's no tomorrow to get your metabolism revving.

Try camming... strip clubs get a certain kind of guys. While he may be a chubby chaser, may not want the world to know it. But on cam & selling clips there is money to be made.

    Good Luck,
    Sam

Yea. Guys are assholes in clubs, to perfect women (if there are any). They are on cam too, @ least you can kick/ban. Cali seems to be rough going anyways, a lot o places are from what I read on here.
But good luck whatever you decide.

I have no specific club suggestions, but if you check out the threads stickied at the top of the Newbie Board, you'll find the answers to your questions about how to get hired, what to wear, etc. No one can predict your earnings and they can vary wildly by shift anyway, so jut go in with an open mind.

I was a size 10 at 5 foot tall. There's no reason you can't start now but be warned clubs are brutal.

start at a dive or urban club. they are usually more forgiving of plumper gals. then when you've lost some weight you can try out more upscale places. but be prepared for some clubs and customers to be assholes at a size 16. i'm not trying to be mean , i'm not the skinniest gal in the world, but i'm just saying..be prepared.

Since you're in SoCal, try a club with mainly Mexican customers: they don't mind bigger girls and like the "all natural" feel of real boobs.

When I first started dancing, I was quite plump: mid 180's, wearing sizes 10 and 12. I did well.

Look for stage bars that are bikini or topless. If you go to a nude club in California and aren't conventionally attractive, yes, customers will insult you (although tbh they do this even if you're a 10 -- they're just more vicious if you're heavy). The actual bad part of being unconventionally hot (plus size is unconventional, but don't forget, you're still gorgeous!) in a nude club is that customers will tend to target you for extras, meaning you will receive a much higher proportion of guys who want handjobs/blowjobs/etc. Nude clubs are not stage-centric, and you will not be able to bank doing straight lap dances at this point in your career.

Go through TUSCL and find slower, dive-ier bars that serve alcohol. Bars, not clubs! Go visit them with a friend. If they serve beer and don't do lap dances, ask the manager about auditioning. There are tons of thicker girls in these places.

You should be able to make at least $100 in a good four hour shift of stage dancing. As you tone up and learn to dance and hustle, you can expect more like $200 and $300 a night. You have boobs. So relax, breathe, and be confident.

Look online at yandy, discount stripper, etc. Or try your local porn/sex shops but online has much better variety. Stripper clothes come in plus sizes, so don't worry. Get some cute stripper bikinis, cute stripper cover-up dresses, some stockings/leg warmers (these will help your knees since you'd be on stage 6-10 times a night) and real stripper shoes.

I'm not plus size, but I do work in southern CA, and I've known plenty of successful heavy chicks. You can do this!

I don't know anywhere specific that would be a good place to start but personally my weight has ranged from 140-200lbs (size 6-14) in my dancing career (I'm your height). I was a size 12 about 180lbs when I was a newbie and while I couldn't work the nicer clubs, the experience was still overall positive, and I made money. Basically anyone will make money when they are new I think, you just have that super fresh, unique, unhindered attitude, and the guys like that for sure. (Don't underestimate how far personality and conversation skills can go). That said after the new phase wore out, I needed to do some "rebranding" of my stripper persona, and one of the things I decided to change was my weight. It was not solely for work reasons, I have a history of diabetes in both sides of my family so I wanted to change my diet while young so I could have at least a shot at having a working pancreas at 60! The toned new bod was an excellent bonus though. Fat kid's dream! I can work pretty much where I want to now, but the money is not a significantly increased factor. In fact during slow times (like now) I am often making waaaaay less than when I was a newbie, which can be discouraging, but my point here is that money does not directly correlate with your size, there are a lot of factors at play, though your "product" will appeal to more customers, and therefore will have the potential to be placed in more clubs if it deviates less from the Barbie Standard.

The important thing is to only change your appearance if YOU want to. Doing it for superficial reasons or to make more money will make it harder to keep up with long term when you don't get the rewards you expect. Reasonable expectations are key. Psychologically speaking, not a whole lot changes from massive weightloss, you are still the exact same person with all the same problems as before minus one. And the biggest thing you learn is that losing weight doesn't fix all of your problems like many think it will. But it does give you the confidence to tackle your next big challenge when you see the physical results! I think the other girls have given you great advice, if I were you I'd check out a few clubs and look into camming, see how you feel about both and then give it a try! All the best

I'm not in SoCal, but my highest earning night ever was when our local mexican customers had a family reunion. I was at my heaviest ever ( 4ft 9in, 135lbs, 36H boobs, sz 10 pants).

But keep in mind, the other nights could be brutal. Example: I had just come back from maternity leave and sat down with one of my regulars from before I left. Conversation started nice, but turned to him saying, "I can't believe the manager let you come back so soon. You look like a beached whale." I cried and haven't talked to him in over a year. And that was a comment from a person that knew my situation. Now I'm picky about who I try to make money off of and make a lot less than I used to because I haven't been able to master a new hustle yet.

You will need a thick skin and be able to brush off. You can definitely make a good living wage if you have hustle skills though. Some of the highest earners I know are bigger girls with silver tongues.

What club are you at now? I would say go to Les Girls. Maybe Eye Candy since it's closest to Mexico.

You can definitely do well for yourself as a bigger girl if you are confident enough. In blue collar/Mexican clubs there are enough customers who appreciate chubby women that you will be able to do just fine once you learn to hustle. Sure some customers will be rude but you just have to tune them out and focus on the ones who are into your type. My first club was a mixed race blue collar club with lots of bigger girls-I was 5'7" 165 lbs at the time and there were lots of girls who were heavier than me working there-and one of the top earners was a girl who was not only fat but pregnant. She dolled herself up really well, wore a corset, and sold tons of dances all night. It was inspirational! I also have a chubby friend who works in Portland and is literally the top girl at her club. She has great social skills and a ton of regulars. It is possible.

I do recommend that you shop around a little bit by visiting clubs as a customer. Do your hair and makeup nice when you go-once you find a place that feels comfortable and you see girls working there in your size range you'll be able to talk to a manager about auditioning and look professional. Definitely start exercising in the meantime though, like others said size doesn't matter as much as overall fitness and also the job is very physicially demanding so you'll want to have some stamina going in.

If you get shy or discouraged on the job just remember your big beautiful boobies!

Ok I'm going to be honest here too. I started out dancing relatively heavy - I was in the 200 pound + range. I did OK. But really I did much better as I got thinner. Don't get me wrong, it can be done, but as I have mentioned on this board before BBW is a niche category. I'm not going to play you and feed you the BS line of "it's all about personality" because it isn't. That said keeping a customer is all about personality, but you have to have the looks to get that customer in the first place.

When I first started dancing I was also the youngest girl in the club as well as the only Asian. I'm not sure how much that played in to my success, but I'm sure it did to some degree.
