I'm surprised too. Molly can easily kill someone with an underlying heart condition or high blood pressure. Given that the average SC customer is an older male, who are more likely to have heart issues, the fact that they haven't killed someone is remarkable.

I'm also not a fan of getting somebody so trashed that they don't know what they're doing and taking them into the CR. If I have to resort to that in order to make money, I suck as a stripper.

Are you sure it was the NY Times... As opposed to the NY Post where this was on the front page? And are you sure it was a few weeks ago... As opposed to 10 days ago... because that is when this story actually broke?

Heck, I've seen a host hand a bag of molly to a dancer at the bar and the dancer slipped it into a cocktail then went straight to the back with that cocktail. It's unfortunate. This is what happens when girls get desperate in clubs that are filled with a ton of girls and high house fees to pay every shift...again, or greed.

The hiring standards aren't as strict as it use to be. As long as there is a shit ton of bodies paying fees, so the club can make money.

It's all over the news. Now ppl are going to be turned off to go to SCs, thinking every girl does this. Not good!!

Eta - another thing that chaps my ass... some clubs tell honest dancers not to ask for tips, yet strippers walking straight into the club with strung out men, straight to vip is acceptable. How fucked up is that?
I had a guy young good looking guy in vip the other night. After about 10 minuters of being in there he started sweating profusely and his heart rate was sky high. I'm like are you having a heart attack. He's Oh no I took a molly 20 min ago. We had to leave so he could go toi his car. He went to get money to tip me but I never went back I had another guy grab me. How is giving someone this condusive to making money? It seems counterproductive. The club I'm at now it's all coke. Worse than manhattan. Everyone wants it and they're doing it blatenly out in the open now. I'll still never go back to manhattan agin. You really should travel it seems too stressful for you... and the standards have gotten so low. The girls pulling rooms all night are the ugliest girls in the club, but oh they have coke. Thank god I still bank there but I don't for see going back next year unless they do a sweep.

Lol. I've been saying for years . Ricks and saphires had the chubbiest strippers I've ever seen. I think everyone confuses Chicago and NY. . Also they are stricter if you travel in. But I've never seen such tubbies walking around in gown clubs. I've worked in mid grade clubs with thinner hotter women..

I don't think any are ugly. Just average. Marni has a nice body and the one with the over inflated lips ,guys tend to like that...

Oh. I'm happy where I'm at now. No drama around me at least(as long as no one bothers me, I'm good).. I'm just saying, the molly slipping in this town will probably keep happening. These girls are kinda open about it telling other dancers too.
Certain hosts hands it to girls, and I know a manger at this certain club in particular def knows about it. I left that place.

This is true. I've met a few girls who proudly told me how they either 1. drug customers or 2. lure customers in rooms with drugs, usually cocaine.

The 'fishing' thing mentioned in the papers is true. When I worked at RoadHouse last fall a girl described to me exactly what the papers said: she and a couple of her friends would hang out in restaurants and bars and would find wealthy clients to bring the club. This girl told me that they'd get the clients in the club under the guise that 'it's their friend's birthday and she is working at x location, let's go visit.' However she never mentioned to me that drugging was involved, but this was probably something she intentionally omitted.

This was a girl who was not one of the arrested girls, although I have seen the girls in the papers before. There are definitely more of those girls out there.

I already had 2 girls from 2 different clubs ask me to get them in my vip room, bc they got molly. Pfffft. #1 I'm not getting in trouble for that shit, & #2 I'm not going to thin my money out to bring other people in, or possibly cockblock a potential regular.

    Desperation!

^ Then your obviously still dealing with that shit. I'd rather travel than put up with the handy customers and loser hosts in manhattan( though at ricks I did not have a problem with the hosts) though almost EVERY guy I did a room with I had to fight off the whole time. No thanks when I can set my prices at other clubs make more than in manhattan and pay less to stay.

Girl, who the fuck said I was dealing with shit?? Lol. I don’t have to deal with anything. I work alone, not with anyone.

Ok I'll just keep my mouth shut. It's a common theme., the bitching about NY for years now. That's why I said you should travel. Just trying to help since you helped me my first time in Ny.

Sadly, I've seen this scam happen once although it is strictly forbidden at my club (thank god).

You know I figured people were doing this before I even seen this story. I've seen girls who were 6's and 7's stay in the V.I.P. the whole night not doing anything at all and keeping him back there. When they come out they are sloshed and we don't even sell hard liquor which is crazy. There is no way people can't get that fucked off of champagne. My spider senses were tingling. SMH. Really sad but hey it happens. I warn all my male friends and brothers to be careful and come with a certain amount if you do go to a strip club.

Any NYC ladies willing to share what you know about Scores' business since this broke? I don't want to go back personally, but I always recommended it to friends of mine from out of town who have too many tattoos for other Manhattan clubs.

Hm, from what I've heard Scores has been very slow for a long time. IDK if this made it slower but we are in the deadest months of the year so it also could be just that.

Yeah, I snuck back one weekend last Nov because my voice was hoarse and Scores was always great for stacking floor dances without much talking. I was absolutely shocked at how dead it was. For hours the only people in the club were a social media team the club had hired to increase traffic! When I'd quit six months earlier you could still count on making a grand on the floor if you couldn't get rooms or just didn't feel like it on weekends. So something definitely went wrong long before this hit the news.

I can only imagine this is the last straw for the club. The only thing it had going for it was its name and the reputation of raunchy rooms. Now it's just a club in a horrible location with an awful reputation.
