Default Pubic hair removal-Does anybody else use this stuff?!

FINALLY,I find something that works!..And doesn't cause me injury!
Shaving gives me infections/ingrown hairs/skin tags etc other blemishes-I have tried every hair removal cream from beauty stores and none have worked , either literally, or burnt me/irritated my skin. I can't wax 'cause I'm a stripper....I have a lazer machine that I daren't use 'cause it hurts so bad.

Does anybody else use this stuff?!Designed for Afro-haired men's beards?!

Amazing! Doesn't hurt, works like a dream, no side-effects!I'm hooked.

Only bad thing about it, ignore the 'Light Fresh Scent', claim. It smells like a gent's toilet.

    Is it like Nair basically?

Yeah. It contains thioglycolic acid which is the same active ingredient as Nair. I bet since it's for facial use, it has a nice gentle formula.

Glad you found something that works, OP!

I have used the powdered version that you mix with water. And yes, works well for me too. I have pale, sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate me.

You can't wax 'cause you're a stripper? I've been getting waxed since before I started dancing, I still get waxed, and I believe it's effective considering I earn more than enough to afford the $60 every three weeks, along with all my other expenses...

^ don't you have to wait til your pubes grow out to do it? i've never waxed simply for that reason..i can't be going to work with a stubbly pussy in between waxings.

You need two weeks of growth in order to wax it off. Any time I've felt noticeably hairy, which is almost never, even up till my 3-week mark, I'll bleach the pubic hair with the bleach meant for like upper lip and bikini area. Bleached pubes are invisible.

I have heard of that-is it better than the cream in any way?

I've always been with Simone-thinking I could never feel confident at work with regrowth..

The bleaching is a good idea, glad it works for you! But I don't think it would be accepted in my current club..The dances are up close and personal!I may try it like, once to see what It's like. But sticking with this stuff for now.I do wax my butt crack, but it gives me spots.

Sorry for resurrecting my thread but do you girls have any idea what should be used after the hair removal process? Should I put on coconut oil or a toner or anything to minimise skin damage? This stuff does not irritate my skin at all, always fine afterwards, but I don't imagine It's the nicest thing for it, either. Then again I am guessing that if I put something like coconut or almond oil on whilst my skin's 'recovering' and the pores may be open(?) it could also do more harm than good?

    Thanks xx

Myself, I usually use aloe gel without alcohol.

You mind sharing which brand you like? I thought this was a brilliant idea, so I tried using the Sally Hanson bleach. All it did was irritate my skin, and the color of my hair didn't change at all.
