Default Anyone Else Addicted To Changing Their Hair Color?

Omg I can't stop changing my hair color! I've had it every natural color and I can seriously pull them all off. Platinum, dark blonde, ginger, auburn, brown, black. I wish I could only pull off one. Gah! Anyone else go through this?

I have a compulsion to do something to my hair every month. Cutting, shaving, dying, new wig, extensions... I haven't found anything that makes me truly happy in years. My favorite was when I had a black bob with blue bangs and purple and pink highlights throughout. That was 12 year ago... Maybe it's time to grow the mohawk out....

yes. i've gone between black, blond, auburn, light brown, and now currently my natural deep brown since i started dancing. dyed my hair probably 3-4 times just in the past year and a half. it's so much fun to play around with color and see what suits you/makes you more money! i'm stopping this year though, i've decided just to love my natural color now that's its darkened up a lot and isn't dishwater brown..and i want to try and grow my hair out super long and get it healthy.

Yea. I'm itching (not literally) to change mine..I've grown out highlights, & I dye my roots myself. The color's ok, but a bit too dark/blah..I'm searching for a decent hair salon (the new Allure mag has some new listings)
I am seriously dying to go to Cali, they've some really great salons (a really interesting one, not too expensive, also in the Allure directory this mo.)
    I couldn't/wouldn't attempt highlights myself.
I'm also w/Simone, where I want to let it grow out as much as possible(I trim it myself) & condition it before I get started back w/the highlights or whatever I want to do color-wise. I really am hesitant in the summer to dump bleach on my hair w/the hot sun blazing on it..also looking for a sun protectant (besides a hat). My scalp's a bit more sensitive now too, I now use 10 volume perioxide.
But yeah, I like to change my hair around.

Ugh, yes! I go through what seems like a never ending cycle!
Highlights, then all over bleach blonde, to strawberry blonde, to bright red, to black. Get bored of it, spent a lot of time and money stripping the black out, get highlights, aaaaand start all over again!

Lol I'm already looking at the next things I want to do! I'm debating between three completely different things right now, but I want it to be subtle!

I am a recovering addict. I want to switch up my color right now. I am trying to go easy because I think that my hair may be showing signs of damage.

I'm in the midst of going total plat. Been natural/dishwater blonde with reddish and blonde highlights for years, but now I'm finally making the commitment to going friggin snow white! I'm really excited BC this means I can finally go pale pink after I get the platinum color I want.

    Total.Body.Transformation..

I'm hitting old faithful P90X again too, so my pudge is on its way out. Fuckyeah!

This's what I'm doing right now: Last time I had highlights (6+ mo. ago) they've been growing out, I touch up my roots with a regular darker base color. I try as mch as poss. to protect the highlighted portion from the sun (which'll turn it white from sun exposure, along w/damage). I wear a wide headband around my head, & tuck in the highlighted length. I let the top of my get get the sun. I wear a sunblock of course & don't spend long periods of time out in the sun. However, my hair grows in fast & roots quickly show up so I have to darken it again. I also treat it gently, deep condition & trim it myself.
But ooh, I reeeallly want to get my highlights redone soon.

I almost never change my color, but when I do it's totally drastic. I'm thinking of going from platinum to auburn but I'm scared to lose all the work I put into getting it so light! (It's too damaged to go back until all of it grows out.)

Does anyone think a cool toned platinum looks dated with pale skin? I think if I had a serious tan it would but I really can't tell in my situation.

You can use a color remover if you don't like it. I literally did that same thing last year. I went from bleached blonde to auburn, then back to blonde with a color remover no bleach.

LOL I love how this post reads. "I just look so beautiful with every hair color!" I wish more ladies were this self-confident. I feel like strippers don't value their own loveliness enough, despite usually being total knockouts!

I don't dye my hair because I looooove my natural golden blonde color and I feel so lucky to have been born with it. Plus I swear my ability to bank is 30% conversation, 30% legs, and 40% hair.
